My other craft show is the weekend of the 22nd, so I am going to vote for another weekend. And maybe by the end of the month it will be nice enough for a camping trip or bonfire??? I can't wait for the fall weather.

 

yes indeed for the non-waiting for the arrival of fall weather... ummm, my schedule is non-existant, becuase right now i'm living in a perpetual state of anarchy... not much differance from normal but this time 'round i don't have a set job, and money is a good thing... anyway, i'm ranting, and i shouldn't... but a camp-out sounds fun.

 

Laura mentioned coming in October I think. I'd like to save the camping trip for then. As far as I know I'm fairly open for September. Any date will work fine for me.

 

Yes, lets save camping till October. It will be cooler and then we can enjoy the bonfire better.

I can do anytime but this weekend and the 29th.

Hey, anyone want to go to a dance (waltz, ballroom type, two-step) on the 29th? Costs $7 per person or $15 per couple. I would love to have company... *puppy-eyed blinking*

 

Camping in October would be even better. Can I suggest the zoo for a meeting then? The more I am there the more I love it. I can't guarantee anything, but I will see if I can get any passes at all and I at least know where to get the $1.00 sodas. Though don't tell on me. LOL! It's central and virtually free. It does involve lots of walking though.

 

How does the 23rd at the zoo sound to everyone?

It's free, public transit goes there easily, I know where the $1.00 soda machine is and you can bring your own food. Hopefully the weather today will carry on through the month.

 

I'm up for that.

Zoo sounds good. But I think I've got Cardinal tickets on the 23rd. That's a Sunday isn't it?

Depending on what time, I might be able to do both.

My little guy loves riding the train. (I do too!!!)

the zoo is open from 9am to 5pm. All day is too much for us, so maybe meet around 11:30 am or Noon, eat lunch by the sea lions. This will give everyone time to get there and meet up and then go on from there. 5 hours is plenty of time I think. LOL!

 

The Cardinals game is a 1:10pm start, looks like I'll try you guys again next month.

 

Just found out this morning, Game time has been changed. Apparently, it will be on ESPN now, so it's been moved to 7:10pm start. I should be able to make it after all.

Is that the definite time and place?

Which gates are the front gates? North or South?

 

The ones closest to the interstate. I think... They are the main ones, not the smaller one in the corner. But I get so turned around driving around, I'm not sure which direction they face.

 

Amy and Tim, it was great to see you and your families. Your respective children have really grown!! Tim, Max is a little bullet! Amy, your girls are growing up and so pretty!

If you include our families, we had a pretty good turnout. LOL! And...we got to see Tim & Co. How often does that happen?!

 

It was great to see you guys again. Max had a great time, he was asleep before we got out of Forest Park. What a great day for the zoo!
