    Well, she's written just as obnoxiously as Bond's character, so it's a win in that regard, I guess. [face_plain]

    He had a son in the first movie. But it is a bit of a rehash or four in that regard, since you went 2 (3 in this case) movies where they're not really acknowleged.

    The best sequels do something different but retain the overall theme of the original movie. Doing something that is essentially a remake of part 1 is not the way to go.

    Best example IMO of this is Alien > Aliens

    Aliens was different and that's why it works so well. The first movie only had one Alien on a ship killing a crew, Aliens had a whole loads of the things on a planet killing lots of people. Alien 3 was essentially a remake of Alien, which is why it didn't work so well.
