If anyone says Caddyshack 2 I'm taking 'em out back and letting Ender Sai read the Economist to them all day.

Gremlins 2. Though not really embarrassing, I just wanted to contribute.

    Amazing.

I guess some people think it's crazy/embarrassing to enjoy Last Crusade slightly over Raiders. LC was the first Indy film I saw, though, and watched repeatedly on wide screen Super VHS as a kid. But bedsides that, I really do just like it still slightly more than Raiders, with TOD falling in after both.

Same here, Last Crusade barely edges out Raiders for me. Not embarrassed about that, though.

I like Crystal Skull better than Temple of Doom. That one might be slightly embarrassing.

Yeah what jp said. This is a thread for embarrassing movies.
Everyone loves these movies as much if not more than the original.

Saying you like ghostbusters 2 better than the original is embarrassing.

A Marion reappearance vs Willie Scott?

I like Crystal Skull better too, by quite a bit.

Temple of Doom is awful and doesn't even have Marion to make up for it, unlike Crystal Skull. I agree on Last Crusade being better than Raiders, though Havac may kill me over it.

Marion doesn't pull Crystal Skull. Crystal Skull pulls the character of Marion down. The same thing happened with Dr. Grant in Jurassic Park III.

It's okay to prefer Last Crusade over Raiders, so long as you acknowledge that it's embarrassing as solojones did. :p

Raiders is a near-perfect film -- Last Crusade is a very, very good film.

Of course, I also do like Crystal Skull (though still potentially third or fourth) so what do I know... :p

I agree Raiders is a perfect film. I think Last Crusade is underrated, though, and it's my all-time personal favorite film (well pretty much tied with Psycho).

I also like Crystal Skull, though I like TOD more probably. I actually love Willie. I think I just appreciate the spot on 40s camp horror-adventure of it all. And I agree with people who thought Crystall Skull pulled Marion down. I love that she was in it but I'm not super fond of how she showed up just in time for there to be so many action sequences there was little time for serious character work. Instead it's a bit too jokey.

The thing I like about Last Crusade is that it has a lot of levity, which its detractors bring up.... but it also has a number of quiet and serious moments, particularly between Indy and Henry. I don't find it nearly as silly as some people think. Pretty much all the Grail stuff is treated with sober reverence and Indy's relationship with his dad has real emotional pull to it, IMHO.
