I love the Waiting On A Star. Your character (Thallie) is so beautiful.

 

Excellent work and I love your art style!

I love how dynamic Sue Storm's looks and the way she is coloured.

Your OC looks beautiful, she looks very serene in that pose.

As for Rogue, she's one of my favourite X-Men after Wolverine, though I'm mostly familiar with the film universe than the comics and cartoons. I think she looks great and her expression.

I am looking forward to seeing more of your works.

 

These are gorgeous, Serena! You're really getting the hang of this style... I love it! All three characters look so beautiful (P.S. I love Thallie's tattoos, very cool). Can't wait for more!

I shall push aside my extreme dislike of Twilight so I can comment on art. Yay.

Edward and Bella: I like the shading in this one. Edward looks very creepy. I think Bella looks less like Kristen Stewart and more like how Stephenie Meyer describes her, so maybe that's what's bothering you about it?

Jacob looks... cute and like he just got out of the water. I love how you've done his hair. A quick sketch, eh? Definitely doesn't look like to my (untrained) eye.

 

Idri: Lol - I can't stand Twilight, either. The only reason I drew Jacob is because I think Taylor's pretty cute. And the E/B drawing was about a year ago, before I'd even read the books or watched the movie. But thanks for putting aside your Twilight hatred to comment on my work.

You're welcome. I figure art is art, whether the viewer likes the source or not.

Thallie looks gorgeous! I really love her colouring, as always. The blue and white makes me think that she comes from an iceworld or something like Hoth.

 

Same idea, Idrelle. Thallie looks suited for Hoth or mabye less harsh iceworld.

They are absolutely beautiful!

The Na'Vi are gorgeous. Those eyes.. the expressions.. the emotions... the tones. Just beautiful.


I agree with you about Avatar. The film is.. magical and rarely has there been a film that made me feel like this about it. Strongly recommend seeing it and in 3D if you get the chance.

 

Just because of your art I might go and see the film after all. Only you had the artistic power to make me currious enough.

 

New to the thread Serena but I must say, Wow, wow, wow. Your drawings of Padme in the earlier posts are great.

 

I feel special now.

I haven't seen Avatar (and yes, many people are telling me to do so but I haven't had a chance to run down to the local movie theatre yet ), but I can say that the Na'Vi look so awesome! Gorgeous details, Serena, really lovely pieces of artwork. Do you have plans to colour them anytime soon, if at all?

OK, I obviously have Avatar on the brain... but I'm thinking of doing a Leia or Padme after this with Painter because I'm having so much fun with it. The first Neytiri was done with Photoshop and is completed. The second is a WIP and is being done with Painter. Man, I am LOVING that artist's oil brush!!
