Serenity - October 7th - Updated

OK, I'm looking into who is interested in a little outing to see Serenity. I've checked with V and she is available on the 7th, the opening Friday, so wanted to see who else would be up for it before looking at which cinema to see it in.

So, who'd be interested in a mass gathering for seeing what is likely to be one of the best Sci-Fi films in recent years?

 

that`s two days after my daughters birthday, so all funds have been diverted in that direction. i`m afraid i won`t be able to make this one, although the film does look superb.

 

the only thing i know about it is that the makers of buffy the vampire slayer made it. which is a good reason but does anyone have a link to a trailer or something. and i wll have to check the 7th.

Im a HUGE firefly fan and I cant wait to see serenity. As I am now in Crewe I will seriously consider going to this meet. Ill post more about my decision in a day or two

I'm just watching the new BSG mini-series again, and at 14 minutes 8 seconds, when the camera starts to pan down from the windows to Laura Roslin, you can see Serenity fly across top left of screen! BSG are Whedon/Firefly fans!

 

We get it this Friday....

I'm gutted I can't make it to this with me being in Manchester and having to babysit on Friday.

it also looks like I'll be watching this on my lonsome in Manchester next week as well.

 

8.15 is that the earliest ? the film wont be on till 8.45 at least , get out at 11. I was hoping for sthing about 7pm.
