They spent a fair amount of time doing their costumes, yes...



But I agree, they looked great! I thought I'd see more 'Browncoats', maybe even an Alliance costume.
After the movie, I thought BBN was tempted to run off with the Joss Whedon cut-out, until he started it. , BBN!

As for mine, my "plan B" was "No power in the verse." Maybe that would have been the one to go with. Although my shirt was tipping my hat to Jayne's stupidity and guy who dosen't know better.
Kinda.

 

Is there something we don't know about Lozza and Ic's costumes boys?????

Well I want to say a BIG SHINY THANK YOU to the boys for waiting patiently for 55mins so we could finish sewing and then dressing!!!!

(Y'see I wasnt actually going till Monday afternoon when my Thursday shift got changed, thus enabling me to go - so Tuesday and Wednesday Lozza and I went madly op-shopping and sewing to get her cossie together and then I started the bulk of mine Wednesday night. Nothing better than cheap and quick cossies that turn out really well!! It made the 30min nap I got at about 3am Thursday morning very worth it!)


AND "It was a real nice party!" .. (and there was NO fighting!)


Thursday night was one hootinany shindig if I say so m'self!!! Everyone who made an effort to dress Firefly-ish looked great!

Serenity was a very interesting movie. Has anyone had any sightings of the Firefly box set as all the stores seem to have them sold out at the moment?

 

I got my box set the same day serenity came out - at jb. it was a very reasonable price too, $36 I think.

 

From what I hear, it's pretty difficult to get ahold of right now, coming into stores and selling out straight away. M_S is ordering me in a copy and getting a staff discount on it (would have had it by now except for an unfortunate mix-up), for which I'm extremely grateful.

 

JB Indro just got a whole new lot in!

I did go to Indro JB (that's near where I live). So I bought it.

I've only seen the first 10 minutes of 'Serenity'. That battle scene was pretty cool at the start - then the next scene when they are salvaging from a piece of space wreckage. That Alliance cruiser was cool. Looks pretty good so far. I thought it was going to be all soap opera. Well, I'm impressed. I still don't like Buffy though.

Good show - wayyyyy better then Star Trek. Rivals my other fav show atm; Doctor Who (2005 version).

But wait till 2007 - the Star Wars tv series will own all that came before it.
