Server Move and Forum Outage

Not sure if this is helpful, but sometimes I'll get a message in Google saying it couldn't connect to the Boards. It's not my internet.

 

Sorry for any errors you've received in the last hour or so, just trying to clean up some residual problems.

 

I think at the moment Grahame might be doing things. We've got a few error messages popping up in the server log. I've had the odd blank screen as well.

That migration was one of the hardest technological challenges I've ever worked with, it really is an amazing feat that we ended up with *most* of the data on a completely non-compatible platform.

 

I hope you added that to your resume/CV, Grahame!

 

Completely off topic, but I can't wait till we move the RS forums to Xenforo - I want more trophies!

 

I hate to ask - any idea when you are going to do that?

 

I've done the migration test a few times and could actually do it for real now if push came to shove. I'd prefer to configure and refine it a little first. It won't be long, that's for sure.

 

Let me know if you need any testing help when you do it for real. I'm just a regular user over there (LAJFett).
