Star Wars Seven Jedi

IC: SAX

Sax lisened to the others converse. What should he do? Blud, one of the only people who seemed to tolerate him, was hurt and needed help. But these people needed help too. Out of the corner of Sax's eye he saw Blud. "Blud!" Sax started to run towards him but halted,

"I though I told you, to stay put!"

"Since when do I take orders from you?"

 

Ancient Master Oran

Nar Shaddaa; Cal Hutta

Oran looked to Brazi for the millionth time and arched his brow in a serious manner. "That was part of my plan. You would rejoin Moreena and Lei'ra by aiding them on the rooftops, giving those snipers less to shoot at down here and more to worry about up there, while Blud, Sax, and myself assault the AT-AT."

Oran paused, looking over Blud and Sax for a moment, the rain pouring down on all of them. He had never met such unorthodox Jedi. Well, not entirely true. Oran had often trained unorthodox Jedi. The Jedi Master gave them a wry grin (as he was becoming his old self again) and continued. "I know assaulting the AT-AT is a suicidal mission, but it needs to be shut down before any more innocents are harmed... are the two of you in?"

IC:Blud Hannen

He didn't answer the small green Jedi. Instead his hand shot out and wrenched at Saxon's arm, his eyes brimming with a veiled anger as he answered Sax's comment, "I am your superior in the Jedi Order, and a Master. In a time of crisis, the Jedi is the authority unless there is a master present. In which instance the Jedi gives way to the authority of the Jedi Master, as does the Master to the council. You are not a master. You are not even complete in your training,that much was obvious! An answer like that you have given me, would have reaped potentially serious consequences in the old days. No one armed padawan, will speak to me as such, when I've been a Jedi before you were even born! I've spilt my blood for you. Thrice! And you know me not even a day. You only shame yourself when you speak to me with such arrogance, and lower the opinions held by those who wish to think well of you. Keep your tongue in check, boy."

He turned to the other two Jedi, pointing at the AT-AT in the distance. "Why is that thing here, and what are you planning to do to stop it?"

The new Jedi who joined them stood there looking at Brazi, Joras and Oran like he was expecting them to do a trick. He then looked over as the Jedi who was battleing with the AT-AT yelled at him as he came running over.

"Blud!"

Brazi looked at the two new comers who started a breif fight. His eyes grew big and wide. He gave them both a slight glare then looked at Joras and put a hand on his shoulder.

"Joras I want you to know that I will never yell at you like you are some sort of properity."

"Yes, I know Brazi." Joras said with a smile on his face while chuckling.

Blud turned to them, pointing at the AT-AT in the distance. "Why is that thing here, and what are you planning to do to stop it?"

"Us and us again. I'm ready when you guys are."

OOC: fist, just so you know in my post I am aware that Blud's age is not marked on teh character sheet, so just roll with what I have in whatever way you see fit

Ancient Master Oran

Nar Shaddaa; Cal Hutta

All this infighting was pointless. It appeared that all Sax and Blud wanted to do was argue about who was superior or who had authority over who. Oran had a stable plan (since the beginning) and these two bulkheads wouldn't screw it up if he had anything to say about it. "Excuse me then, Master Blud. According to what you have already stated, a Master has authority as long as he is present. And taking into account that I've been a master long before your ancestors were in diapers, that would make me your superior as senior Master. This is a war going on, between Jedi and Imperial. Squabbling only postpones what the living Force has in store for us."

Oran had never spoken with such authority since... since the fall of his apprentice all those years ago. He felt the pain course through his scar as he turned to the others gathered. "Brazi, get to Moreena and Lei'ra now! The rest of you, follow me or by the binary suns of Tatooine may you die quickly by Imperial gunfire..."

With that, Oran didn't wait around for anything or anyone to just follow him, he managed to pull of many Yoda-esque movements, leaping over stormtroopers and evading blasterfire, all while his three telekinetic blades swirled around him in a protective shield. The AT-AT was almost in range, but he would need a means greater than the Force to reach it in time.

As Blud yelled at Sax he just stared into his eyes. Sax knew the others were talking but still gazed at Blud. His arm burned, every little droplet stung. Sax's hands became loose letting his saber fall to the ground.

"You are not even complete in your training, that much was obvious!"

Sax slumped down to the ground on his knees, stunned.

Lei'ra - Lee
On the Rooftops - Nar Shaddaa, Cal Hutta

Lei'ra moved to the next area of buildings, making sure Moreena was with her before they moved once again. She would make sure none took any free shots as they moved. Lei'ra scanned the area. Lei'ra was annoyed. Where were the others? Planning, hopefully.

Lei'ra scanned for that other snipper as they sat quietly. He had to be close. But not too close. She continued to seek out other lifeforms on the rooftops. Any spec of life would light up to her eyes. Since the AT-AT driver didnt seem to care, they might be hinding from it as well. As they waited, she sent another chunk of building, aiming for the gun turrents again, this time, from the other direction. She gave Moreena a grin. "You see anything?" she whispered softly. As she looked around, she stared at the AT-AT. "We need to find that last sniper. That way, we can attack the AT-AT quickly and get out of here. " She frowned. I got an idea for that beast..but we only get one shot at it. And im not exactally liking the idea, cause it leaves me vunerable. And so far, Im not exactally thrilled what what I've seen the others do yet, either." she murmored softly, as she glared at the machine."Oh well. First things first. Find that sniper. Ready to move?" she asked Moreena.

Lei'ra pointed out another hiding spot, in case the area they were hiding in at the moment became to unstable. Goggled eyes, scanned the area for the sniper, her blaster at the ready.

The AT-AT rose. Higher. Higher. Buildings trembling, dust falling to the earth. The sound of blasting emanated as each time its cannons roared, lasers sent building fragments tumbling to the ground. Alarms blared across the city. People screaming.

Then in the distance came...five Tie fighters. The time had come. The AT-AT would continue to attack, but the general plan was this. Detonate three torpedoes and level the area, in which the AT-AT was deployed. It would be said to be the only way to deal with the threat of the weapon gone mad. But in reality...it was but a way of ensuring the destruction of the Jedi.

The ground was suddenly riddled with lasers, as all four jedi on the ground were made to avoid the tremendous barrage. Blud Hannen grabbed the half stunned,Saxon and hoisted him off his feet. Dodging lasers he ran into the lobby of a hotel. He did not notice the sign over the door that read: Hutt Lodgings.

"Now will you stay here?!" he said to Saxon. "You're in no shape to take on anything! Recuperate. I'm coming back!" He ran out into the streets again, hovercars exploding. Glass from buildings raining to the ground.

Everybody and anybody needed to find cover.

Then his eyes widened in horror. A young girl was among the bodies, still alive and huddling among them. He ran towards her.
"Hey! Honey, come here, its not safe out!" Looks like Saxon was about to have some company.

Atop the Casino, LITTLE BIRD panicked. Only now did he realize the true depths of the insanity of his employers. He ran for it. And smack face to face, before two female Jedi.

Lei'ra La'Orin- Lee
On the Rooftops - Nar Shaddaa, Cal Hutta

Something caught Lei'ra's attention while she scanned for the sniper. The AT-AT driver was insane, as it continued to climb. The AT-AT rose. Higher. Higher. Buildings trembling, dust falling to the earth. The sound of blasting emanated as each time its cannons roared, lasers sent building fragments tumbling to the ground. But that was not what had caught her attention.

Lei'ra looked upwards, and froze. In the distance came, throught the smoke, she could now see them. Tie fighters. Five of them. They werent just laying a trap for Jedi. They planned on taking out everything in the area. Their own troops, and anyone else unlucky enought to still be in the area. Luckily, many folks had ran away, once the AT-AT had began crunching buildings. The ground was suddenly riddled with lasers.

Lei'ra turned to Moreena, her lekku twitched nerviously. "We have got to get off the roof now. Up her, those Tie fighters are going to zero in on us. We shall have to take out the fighters, before they pin us down." Lei'ra made a face, quickly thinking. She then nodded. "Let's go!" she said, as she began to move. Lei'ra and Moreena got up from their hiding spot, ready to make their move.

And came face to face, with their elusive sniper, who was busy running for his life. He seemed just as suprised at this newest tactic as they were. Guess no one told him he was expendible. Lei'ra dropped her head, only the lower part of her face showed under her robe.

Lei'ra gave a dark grin, as her fingers twitched on her blaster. One blaster shot, and their little sniper would no longer be a problem. Even if she didnt kill him, she was sure that between the snipers and the AT-AT's...he wouldnt live long. He had shot at them. Tried his best to kill them all. He didnt deserve any mercy....did he? As she glared at the man, she was still quite aware of the incomming tie fighters. As her fingers tightened on her blaster, she stared at the man. His aura wasnt dark now.

And then, there was Moreena, standing right next to her. A young Padawan. Lei'ra gritted her teeth a moment, and then made a decision. With one gesture, she removed his weapon. "Run!" she stated in a deep voice, as with the second gesture, she lifted him up, and dropped him, a few buildings over, out of the direct fire of the maddness going on nearby. She would probably regret her decision, but to gundown someone running away from this madness, was not a step she was willing to cross with Moreena nearby.

Lei'ra turned at looked at Moreena. "Let's get out of here, shall we?" she stated, as she jumped down, through the clouds of dust, to the next level of rooftops below. As soon as Moreena was with her, she would move again, as another idea hit her. If they thought the Jedi had died in the massive overkill effort..they would stop their attacks on the people. And in all these collapsing buildings, it would take a LONG time, if ever, to try and identify bodies. All they had to do was dissapear. Now, if she could only get that message to the other Jedi, if it wasnt already too late. And she had a way to dissapear as well. For once, she was glad she was on Nar Shaddaa. She quickly relayed her idea to Moreena, as they moved downwards.

Kat was know fighting to not get hit by the glass falling down all around her, she was covering her head then she heard someone yelling.

"Hey! Honey, come here, its not safe out!"

She looked though her boney fingers trying to find out where it coming from, she finely spoted where the man was Geting up from her knees and starts to make her way slowly to the man, there was large pieces of twisted hovercars and laser fire all over the streets. She was zigzagging around the best she could and jumping, it was almost like something was telling her, when to jump and zigzag and at the same time trying to protect her head then a huge chuck of the building broke off and was coming down at her she got a danger sense, like she got sometime and looked up and saw the piece coming at her she use her speed and flip over a three foot piece of pipe that was sticking up out of the ground before she made it to the man. She was breathing for air, ?I-I?m ... scared ...Help.

IC:Blud Hannen

He grabbed her in his arms, lifting her up and turning ran across the street. Avoiding laser fire, as he entered the hotel.

"Saxon!" He judged the young man. He understood the younger was dazed, but right now was the worst time for him to be unconcious. "Saxon, this isn't the time for that! I need you to wide awake, and alert. The world's going to hell, wake up!" The building they were in trembled.

"Wake up!"

On the rooftop, the Imperial codenamed LITTLE BIRD was still in a daze over what had just happened. Then he realized he had no gun. No time to think on that. It was either focus on the job, for employers a little less than appreciatvie of him. Or get out.

"I've just given notice," he growled. And so he passed out of the lives of the Jedi.

"Wake up!"


Kat was on the floor by the younger man by now, see how much pain he was in or confusion there was, she put her little hands on his head and closed her eye and her hand started getting the warm feel to them, Wake up! Wake up! I?ll take your pain away. She sits there for a minute or two. Then just waited and look with her blue eye, at the older man.

Lei?ra picked up speed. She was running from body to body when she felt the ground tremble, Moreena felt it as well. Moreena felt so many hurting souls it was hard to concentrate then she felt one and she knew Lei?ra had felt it as well and Moreena knew it. For no sooner had Moreena glanced at Lei?ra she was gone, just like a speeding blaster bolt. Moreena rushed and use the Force to keep up the pace.

Moreena tried to make light of the situation, looking up at Lei'ra she grinned. Ler'ira saw her, and gave a small nod.

Moreena glanced up at Lei'ra then jumped high onto the roof and landed a few meters behind Lei'ra. "I think that's the best plan yet." Moreena said.

Lei'ra grinned. "Oh, it wont hurt it..much. But it will keep them occupied. Need to throw the next chunk someplace it will hurt.

?Right, my suggestion, the front blaster cannons.? She nodded her head towards the face of the AT-AT which was now at a profile view. Lei?ra flung another chunk of debris. The AT-AT did not budge, even as it felt the impact of that flying shard of wall. It turned. And then it did something incredible. It went UP! It climbed a building. How that building managed to support its massive weight, was a miricle as well. Lei'ra frowned. If it climbed, it would see them. She whispered to Moreena as the woman gasped at the course of action the AT-AT took.

?Get ready to Run. Im going to try to disuade it." She pointed out a direction. With the machine climbing, it made it less stable. After all, it was no longer of a flat base.

?Lee?? Moreena eyed the Twi?lek with caution.

Lei'ra threw another huge chunk of debris. This time, she aimed for something more delicate. The gun mounts on the front. The huge chunk of building would also block their vision for a few prescious moments.

With that, she nuddged Moreena, and they began to move. Lei'ra ran, moving around the back side of the machine. Time to find another hiding spot. A huge air vent on the roof, was a good place to hide at the moment Moreena caught glance of the vent and noted the place that Lei?ra wanted to hide.

Brazi's eyes lit up like he had seen a ghost. He hadn't heard Master Oran speak with such authority since he was in the Jedi Order. Those words were also probably the wisest words he had heard in a few days. He then heard Oran say his name.

"Brazi, get to Moreena and Lei'ra now! The rest of you, follow me or by the binary suns of Tatooine may you die quickly by Imperial gunfire..."

Without a second thought he headed towards the roof where Moreena nad Lei'ra were. He ran swifter than he had in years. He never looked back only at what was infront of him. A very familar noose screamed over above the Jedis' heads. "TIE FIGHTERS!" He yelled inside his head as he looked above still running. "Five. Great that's all we needed." The ground was suddenly riddled with lasers. He ran towards a big pile of rubble with a few dead bodies in it and next to it. He laid flat and touched himself in with the force. His pulse lessend and he breathed softer as he slowly moved a few things around him to make it apear more so that he was no longer living.

OOC: The next few stuff if inside Sax's dream:

(Two men are walking across a battle feild strewn with clone bodys and droids. The younger man to the left is SAX) "Why does this happen?" Sax says. "The beats of war young one," The older man says, "The Dark Side did this." (Sax halts to kneal down to a clone) "He is still alive" Sax breathed. "Sax....leave him be. He will never be able to fight again." (Sax stabs the clone) "General Grievis is still alive I feel it." Sax wispered. (The man pushes Sax into a deep cut in the ground) "Stay down padawa- ahh!-uhh-kish"

"Saxon, this isn't the time for that! I need you to wide awake, and alert. The world's going to hell, wake up!"

Sax felt a warm hand on his head. "I love you master..." Sax jolted up the ground and opened his eyes. "Blud! Where are you! Dont die- dont leave me..."

Kat jumped a little when the young men jump up and she got up, and when to him and softly and kindly spoke to him, How are you feel, putting her hands on his right hand and sending another warm healing flowing though his body, and smiling at him sweetly. Thinking all this time if the older man does nothing by yells. She could felt the building shaking and plaster from the wall falling, and crakes running down to the floor.
Her eyes got wide, I don?t think its safe in here anymore, and my danger sense is telling me flee, but wait for them.

"Calm down." Blud looked into Saxon's eyes. He was watching the girl. There was something...about her. "Listen. I want you to watch her. You are a responsible, Jedi. Got it? Watch her. I'm going back out there."

He turned to the child, studying her features deeply. "Little one, trust me I will take you from here, to a place of safety. But until I or Saxon tell you otherwise, stay here. Your life depends upon it." He noticed the cracks on the ceiling, and the shaking walls and thought, 'She must think I'm nuts'.

He turned back to Saxon. "You're going to be needing this." Saxon's lightsaber. "You're in charge. Make pleasant conversation." He patted Saxon on the shoulder and moved back out to the door, smoke from where the lasers had struck the concrete ground, billowed up in plumes.

Blud looked out, before exiting the hotel. He paused. Amid the now burned corpses, lay a very unburned, man. The biggest of the three Jedi, around Blud's build. Blud narrowed his eyes as he watched. Yes...still alive.He was only pretending. The pulse was not present, but Force still emanated from his body. Not that would do any good, if stray fire got him. Blud extended forth a hand.

By the Force, that Jedi was yanked towards him into the hotel. Blud caught him, before he went crashing into a wall. Doubtless, he wasn't expecting that. Blud's face was grim. "Where are the others? Do you how many Jedi are out there?"

Sax watched as Blud left. "No! Blud I cant lose you!" Sax calmed down. Sax looked at the young girl. She was so pretty and light. There was something about her. "Are you an angel?" Sax was still out of it.

Are you an angel?" Sax was still out of it.

She giggles and blushed, No, I?m Kat. What your name? She was closing her eye and concerting and sending all the healing force she could. You?re going to be ok; I?ll take care of you, looking with her bright blue eyes, and bring him out of his daze.

Five Tie fighters had appeared. Forget attacking both them and the AT-AT now. Those Tie's would not give them the chance. They would burn out the entire area. Just to make sure. Their ellusive sniper was gone now. Lei'ra picked up his weapon. It might work against the Tie fighters as well. It definatelly had a better range than her blaster.

Lei'ra turned at looked at Moreena. "Let's get out of here, shall we?" she stated, as she jumped down, through the clouds of dust, to the next level of rooftops below. Moreena leaped down at Lei?ra?s side, easily keeping up with her. ?Sounds good to me.? Moreena shot a glance at the Twi?lek. Lei?ra had a way to dissapear as well. Moreena noticed a sparkle in the alien?s eyes. One of gladness, the Twi?lek was glad she was here on Nar Shaddaa. Moreena followed as Lei?ra moved downwards.

?So, where do you plan on heading? We could disappear into an abandoned building. Wouldn?t be too hard to find one of those around here.? Moreena asked as they leap-frogged their way down. Lei'ra grinned. "You got the righ idea. But I plan to go a bit farther than that." She said grinning. She leaped down, towards the ground level, and then moved to hide against the wall, as the Tie's made their pass, and readied themselves for the next past. Lei'ra looked at Moreena, and spoke within the Force, speaking not only to Moreena, but to the other Jedi in the area she could reach, and especially Master Oran.

//"We can not beat both the AT-AT and TIE fighters. We need to leave. NOW. The sewer systems actually, would work. The ruble and lining of the sewers would block any sensors from the ships, and both keep us out of sight, and out of fire. We can get in, from one of the buildings. As long as they think we are alive, they will continue to blast that area. If they think we have died, they will stop."//

Lei'ra looked at Moreena. She then scanned the snipers rifle, checking its charges. She smirked. She scanned the area, looking for a suitable building that didnt look like it was in immeidate danger. She gave a dark smirk. She pointed out a sutible building.

"Let's go!" she told her, as she began to move quickly. She wanted to be out of the street before the next pass of the Tie Fighters.

Sax looked into her blue eyes and calmed down a bit. "Are you a Jedi? How old are you....you seem too young to be a Jedi"

Looking at him puzzled, I?m not a Jedi, and my mother told me about them. Then started to think about her mother and how much she missed her, tears where in her eyes. With a single tear coming down her check, my mother said I have a special gift and I needed to hide it from the evil ones.

"Ahhhh" Sax inhaled. "I havent talked to anyone in ages. Let alone a female." Sax closed his eyes. "Wheres Blud?!?"

No silly, I?m a girl; I?ll be 9 in 6 months. Her danger sense was started to tell her to get out. You know we need to get out of here, before the Tie come back, this building is going to be the first one hit, taking him by the hand and leading him to the door. Let's go find your master.

Just as Brazi thought he was safe something got a hold of him and sent him flying. "What the flamin?" He thought to himself as he was flying threw the air. Suddenly somebody caught him. He turned his head. It was Blud. Not exactly the person he wanted to see or be caught by for that matter. From first impression he didn't much like Blud, but the times right now were rough so he wasn't go to complete not trust Blud and not give the man a chance.

"Where are the others? Do you how many Jedi are out there?"

"There's five others. I don't know where two are. But your friend is with Oran and Joras, they were going to attack the At-AT."
