Senate Sexual Assault on Campus - CA's affirmative consent law

Yes I understand the alumni money helps out locally but as an organization the national chapters can't be held liable because if that was the case, then any one could sue a fraternity or club for something that happens off of school grounds. Let's face it, if that was the case and you got into an accident in your car after you got drunk at a frat party then anyone could sue the fraternity organization because it allowed to much drinking to go on.

does seem like a sign of a major shift in how campuses deal with sexual assault allegations.
