Well, if you plan a party I'll do my best to see if I can attend it. May is kind of turning into a busy month for me.

I vote for Dolores Park. Easy to get to by BART or MUNI, the "J" drops you off right there.
    Plus we can BBQ there!

Eva suggested the park we went to before in San Bruno:

or I could get a spot early at Crissy Field:

Both have nearby restrooms as well as BBQ pits. :D

We might want to wait till we get a little closer to the date since we might be back to typical SF weather. I liked the park we went to last year, it was easy parking and plenty of space.

I'm cool with either Crissy Field or the San Bruno park.

I vote Dolores Park. But I would choose Crissy Field over San Bruno.

You have to make it more centrally located so that the people coming from 50 miles away have an incentive to come and participate. Another thing, the name of this topic needs to change to an annual picknic or a party for people to even open up the link. I had trouble finding this. If it was not for Matt telling me about this I would of never took the time to look for it.

yeah i agree too! have it centrally located.i'll try to make it to the picnic. having at the presidio would of been perfect but a long drive for our friends in the south bay.

I thought San Francisco was centrally located (i.e. meetings).

I think Eva was thinking the peninsula was more central? Or maybe something just slightly south of San Francisco? I guess it's just that it sometimes feels like the people from San Jose have the longest commute. But I know Kevin lives north of San Francisco. Same with Charles (if we can ever have a meeting on a Sunday so he can attend).

SF is centrally located and we are the SF Fan Force. I'm not against having it somewhere else but we it should be in SF.

Just wanted to bump this up and see if we can agree on a place to go. It was requested last night by some of the south bay folks that we make it south of the city so that they don't have so long a drive. We also might have a chance at better weather if we get out of the city. Unless of course we get another heat wave.

The only park in South City that's suitable that I know of is Orange Park:

Genentech had a picnic there once, it was really nice.
