A final reminder to all attending:

Besides a food/drink item, please bring a wrapped, Star Wars-related gift to exhange ($10-20 value, roughly). To be fair, those who don't bring a gift, won't be able to participate in the gift exchange. See everyone there!

With all these videos and games everyone wants to bring, we'll probably have to get more than one TV...or we can just have picture in picture in picture. ;)

    The list so far:

    Robert: ribs and chicken.
Eva: green salad and pork fried rice or chow mein and some booze
    Anne M: pumpkin pie
    Britt: Eggnog and candies
    Caged Reality: appetizers
    Kath: Platter?
    Dale: Chips & Salsa
    Matt: Punch, cookies, plates, utensils
    Erick: Taters?
    Elton: Drinks

There is an outdoor propane grill. Anybody willing to use it in the rain is free to do so, Luckily my ribs and chicken can be done in the oven. If I'm missing anybody chime in.

We seem to be missing something vital and important to a holiday party....oh yeah, drinks, alcoholic and non-alcolholic.

The Address will be 2225 23rd Street.

    http://maps.google.com/maps?q=2225+23rd+Street,+San+Francisco,+CA&hl=en

Party should be starting around 5 PM.

I think almost anything if you are doing sodas would be good for non-alcoholic.

If you are talking about alcohol, beer or say Smirnoff Ice- or something similar, since some members don't like the taste of beer.

I am bringing Chocolate Syrup Brownies. Lost the recipe for the caramel ones, then found it as I was measuring the chocolate chips for the brownies! It's on the choco chip wrapper! Sorry, Eric, next party I'll bring caramel brownies!

Here's a thought with the party coming up, and Christmas around the corner...

Did you notice that if you re-arrange the letters in C-L-A-U-S, as in Santa Claus, it spells:
    L-U-C-A-S ! [face_thinking]

And with George's beard now turning more white than silver, he is even starting to look like St. Nick.

(BTW - if there are any haters out there, don't even think about then re-arranging the letters to Santa [face_shhh] )

Satan Lucas [face_devil] -- well I can see that in a way.

But trying to keep things on track for those who get to the address and if there is no sign on the door with instructions on how to get o the club room, call my cell at 415-845-7093.

Well, I guess Robert's not going to a SFFF trip to Skywalker Ranch anytime soon. ;) Speaking of which, I was surprised to get something special in the mail today: the official Lucasfilm Holiday card signed by Steve and Mary! :p

    Just checking in...

I'll stop by the deli and put together a small assortment of cheese, meat, crackers and maybe some small rolls if the have them. (with Robert using the grill I thought it might be a little much for me to try to do burgers too).

I may bring one bottle of Diet Pepsi/Coke. I figure if it's not needed I can just bring it back home.

Do we have enough cups, plates, napkins?

    - Kay Dee

"When shall we three meet again?
In thunder, lightning, or in rain?"

    -- Macbeth

Looks like all three. So let's be carefl out there on the road.

The ribs and chicken are already cooked so I won't need to use the grill.

Had a great time last night, guys. Hope everyone else did too. It was our 3rd annual Holiday Party and it gets better each year. I just wish we had more time to play games or use the hot tub. But other than that, it was fun! It was great that most of you got to meet some newbies: Sean, Brent, and Elton (and Rylan too). Thanks to Rachel for getting the clubhouse, and thanks to Ming for doing the "White Bantha" gift exchange, as well as the "freebie ship" giveaway. I'd also like to thank everyone for bring lots of food, and a special shout out to the "Lord of the Ribs": Robert! A fitting way to end your term. :)

Here's to next year, when we'll have more members (70/30 girl/guy ratio?) , and an even bigger party! =D=
