I'm thinking since we have so much to talk about, mostly about CIV, and that will be very detailed info, and the fact that many may have questions during the meeting, I'd like to have it at Lucasfilm/The Presidio, which is a lot quieter at lunchtime than Metreon. We can start at 1 pm, but start getting there after 12 pm to have enough time to eat lunch if anyone wants to. For those going to CIV, I would highly suggest taking notes.

 

I'll be there! I'll try to get Andrea to come, too.

 

Can't make it at all. I am dooing a 10 hour shoot on my first film that day, then stepping in ad AD for another 10 hour shoot the next day.

 

Don't know if I can make this meeting, can't leave my brother home alone for even a few hours.

 

If we do have a meeting in May, it might be on Sunday, May 20, since on the 19th, I'll be at an event for the 501st. Again, this would be pretty much for people going to CIV, but we'll be talking about other stuff as well I think.

 

Im going to try my butt off to make the meeting, since Im going to C4, Ive got a ton of questions. AND,,,,,,not to sound totally stupid,,, but since this will be my first meeting, does one just show up at the Yoda fountain???? Also, how long does a meeting generally last??

We usually meet at the cafe, Perk Presidio, Even. As far as the meetings go (if everyone shows up relatively on time), they usually last about an hour and a half.

Ok Perk Presidio, got it! Where Is Perk Presidio?

 

It is the cafe that is on the grounds of Lucasfilm's complex at the Presidio. It is downhill from the the Yoda statue. If you start at the Yoda statue, follow the path between the buildings toward the grounds and the pond. The cafe will be on your right. You want to enter the Presidio from the Lombard Gate and the LFL complex will be on your right. Just look for the brick buildings. See you there!

I can make the May meeting if it's on a Sunday. Looks like I may not get to go to C4 after all. School is killing all my time. But, that's a good thing. Anyone want to be my "buyer" at C4? I will pay up front, plus extra for the service.

i'm thinking of taking BART over to Presidio for today's meeting.How do I get there from Powell St Bart Station and how long is the commute from there? Someone pls respond asap or i'll have to drive into the city.

 

I won't be able to make it to the meeting today. I feel bad about missing two meetings in a row, but the annual spring picnic for my old dept at university is today, and since it happens only once a year...

 

Kevin - you might want to call Matt if you need that info urgently (he posted it in the yahoo group message). I'd imagine there must be bus lines you could check too...
