I think I can make this. I actually have to be in the city anyway that day to check ou t the Giants/Dodgers game that night. Hopefully I'll still be able to go to the picnic, if it's not too late in the day that is.

The 19th the Mustang is going into the shop to get her hyperdrive (read brakes) fixed. Or would that be anti-hyperdrive since they make her stop!

I can bring potato salad and deviled eggs if I can get a ride. I can meet whoever at BART in downtown SF or out to Hayward to go with Eva. Or whatever.

I don't care where it is, as long as I can get a ride. Will even chip in for gas!

 

I use to live on taravel and 27th actually. Our club has about 20-25 people? more or less? Actually if you live near 19th then parking for all vehicles becomes an issue. The area is usually packed esp. around 19th.

 

very tru though techinically im on 20th and rivera, who knows, golden gate park is always fun

 

yeah 20th is around that BofA and such... I find myself double parking to make deposits there whenever I have a check or need to get to an ATM. Very little parking and forget weekdays because it's permit parking till like 5pm right?

 

i think so, not sure, dont drive.. Go to the BOA in West Portal, im going back to work for them as a teller at that one. Fridays im gonna start wearin my star wars tie again ha

I think we should pick a couple of places that don't require a deposit. That way, we can check the weather for those spots a week before to see which would be better. I know the one I picked at Crissy Field is free. You just have to be there at 8:30 am to hold the spot. Any other places?

 

I'm going to a BBQ/Pinic tomorrow in GG Park after we shoot somethings in Oakland (at a range, not drive bys, although... it is Oakland... so self defense maybe umm... necessary). I'll let you know how that goes. GG Park that is.

If it's at Crissy Field with the GG Bridge in the background, then yes.

 

Okay, weather yesterday was utter crap in GG. Also they did have to pay for the space but they also had like 50 people...

Considering weather issues during the month of August, and logistical issues( Close enough for those live in SF, East Bay, and South Bay), I still think we should pick somewhere in San Mateo County, so again here is a link to the main Parks in the County, along with another link with the price of deposit, etc:
