SH Figuarts Star Wars

Best line of Star Wars action figures I've seen

 

There aren't too many characters yet, but the detail in the ones that exist is amazing.

 

I'd really love these, but they are not cheap. I would like to get the AOTC Anakin and Padme that are coming.

 

Yeah they're around 50$ but their 3-D printed faces are so detailed. I think it would be better to save up for a few quality characters than to buy many cheaper ones. Though there are still some good Black Series action figures that often even match the same scale of the SH Figuarts ones. I have this Mace Windu with my Black Series Jango Fett.

 

I hadn't heard of these until I got the Farmboy Luke for Christmas. Beautiful figure. I'd love to have the Jedi Luke as well, but he's already shot up to $150+ on eBay.

 

Yeah the cheapest I saw him for his like 90$. Too expensive lol.

 

Pheeew, yeah, I mean they're incredible figures, but I can't really justify spending that. My focus is vintage anyway, but I do collect OT 6" Black Series as well, and they'll just have to do as larger representations of my favorite characters. I'm already knee deep in that line anyway, approaching 30 Black Series figures in my collection.

Dooku looks amazing. The head sculpt really seems to capture the likeness of Christopher Lee. I like the look of Padme as well. Figuarts have really put in the effort with her robes.

I've avoided Figuarts until now, due to the higher price point, but I might have to invest in one or two when these are released.

 

I don't really think the Leia is up to their standard. All the other faces look great but not impressed with Leia.

 

I really dig that RotS Anakin! I'm really surprised they skipped out on doing the Rogue Crew. No Jyn, Cassian, Chirrut or Baze. Let alone Bodhi, Saw, or Galen!

 

Yeah I don't know, the Japanese companies are hit and miss over what they make.

 

Yeah they are. Although, I'm glad they made a padme. Need to scoop that one up sometime.

 

Soooo expensive...I'm hoping the Queen Amidala won't be as much. I think the AOTC Padme was a store exclusive or something.

 

Yeah I just saw how much it was after posting that, thinking "ya know what, it's Christmas, I got sixty to spare!"

I am new to collecting these, I have 6 SH Figuarts, 1 Mafex, 1 Black Series (As it was on sale, and I am not usually a fan of the line)

Can anyone suggest good online stores for SW SH Figuarts figures, I'd really like to start collecting them.

 

Amazon UK seems to have a selection. As with sites such as eBay, if Amazon UK isn't fulfilling the order be sure to check the seller's feedback.

 

Amazon, BigBadToyStore, etc have them. It really depends on the figure. Some you'll find, possibly on sale even. Others... will be stupidly over priced, like Padme.

 

Just got my hermit Luke in!

 

Looking GREAT! It's ridiculous Hasbro has yet to even announce a Hermit Luke figure yet.

Hobby Link Japan seem to have a decent selection at reasonable prices (their shipping prices are okay as well). There's always eBay, but beware of fakes (if the price seems too good to be true, there's usually a reason as to why).
