I wanted to make a Sabaac reference in my post that was the equivalent of a bluff. I know a bit about the game, but not enough. Looked it up online at the time and a "Satellite" was the closest equivalent. Just tried to find it again and no results...

I must say I'm rather impressed. One of the things I'm doing with my RP posts in TGW is using them to write book two in my fan fic trilogy, and it's already produced 9 chapters so far. Which means I'm already 3 chapters shy of the total I had from book one and we haven't even gotten past the first day in game yet.

Short Bio:
Born a slave, Gildar had lived for a long time being traded from one master to another. He well knew the life of a slave, he knew the Force... somewhat, but that is all he knew. Where he came from, who he really was was lost in time.

Most recently he had been owned by master Jilljan Holmcoff. He was one of many of her slaves, but the only Force sensitive one. Being connected, as he was, to everyone around him, he felt everything that happened. It drove him mad.

He had no formal training in his use of the Force, but had figured a few things out. He could land safely jumping from high places and augment his strength to lift things that other slaves couldn't. He could also run faster.

He figured out one more thing, too. Murder. One day when the beatings got too much, he finally killed Master Holmcoff and he ran away.

You are less than him. It doesn't matter what your rank or what you think. You are less than him. He is in control. It will be a lot better for you if you realize this from the beginning.

Alejac was born in the lower levels of Coruscant. He grew up needing to be tougher than everyone. Several times he was excused from lessons or from an activity because of a fight he'd been in. That was not a surprise. What was a surprise is that the other kid had survived.

When he was old enough, Alejac joined the fledgeling Army of the Old Republic. Surrounded by clones, he continued to get into scrapes. Enough so that he was dishonorably discharged within five years.

He has grown up bitter of not being able to have the advantages that "other people" have had. This brought him to be hard on most people, but women, in particular, that he found as exceptionally weak. He also looked down on Force users because he generally found they leaned on that crutch of the Force too much.

He still carried the look and feel of a drill sargeant, even though his buzz cut hair was starting to gray. He found that put people off enough that he could get the upper hand within seconds.

His last position was as one of Jilljan Holmcoff's guards. Because of being in charge of a Force-sensitive slave, he was fitted with a chip to notify him of any Force manipulation. It is a closely guarded secret, though, again to give him the upper hand. Even the former slave, Gildar, had no idea about the chip.

 

I'm pretty sure the new republic didn't use clones, and the empire stopped using them in 9 BBY
