Not confirmed yet... This site says differently at the moment http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/tvlist... Clone Wars&method=getEpisodesForShow&desc=on It's still up in the air what one comes first. We'll have to wait a few more weeks until we know for sure.
Revival has the exact same dialogue as the book version, so I think it will be pretty close adaptions with the remaining parts as well.
If The Lawless ends with Sidious smiling as he electrocutes Maul, I hope they change the music. I don't want to watch Sidious being pure evil and then BAM Triumphant clone wars score. It would just ruin the mood.
And I thought that Revival was the weakest part of the book, and the episode was still pretty bloody good.
I hope they use FOR ONCE, SW music and it is the Emperor's theme. Cause TCW music usually kills the mood and I still do not get why do they do not want to capture the feel of the movies with the music. That would be amazing but TCW does not like to put good music during duels.
I rewatched Revival today and it got me thinking. Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler If Maul truly does die at the end of this arc and Sidious kills him, then what about Mother Talzin's prophetic words about him and Savage having an important destiny? What about the green mist that came from Maul's legs when they were destroyed in Revival? Perhaps that is the key to everything? Because neither Maul or Savage are their 'normal selves', they both have some form of Talzin's magic. Surely that has got to play into it somehow?
Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler Which is part of the reason why I dont think this is the end of Darth Maul. To much is left unfinished
A few questions: Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler 1. Are there any scenes with Palpatine before Sidious shows up on Mandalore? I think about him receiving updates on the Maul situation, reflecting on the situation (like he did in 'Revival') or telling Mas Amedda that he takes and extended leave of absence. 2. Does Tyranus learn anything about Maul? And if so, how does he react to this whole thing? 3. Can you say what exactly Sidious, Maul, and Savage talk about? Is Maul afraid that Sidious has come for him, or does he think he can defeat him?
Sidious... Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler I wonder if Maul had the darksaber with him? If Bo Katan finds it, will she break the deal with Almec? Is Bo the next Mandalore? By removing Maul, the shadow club is rudderless.
Please put me in the Spoiler Group as well SSS! Also, I don't think there is any way they can kill off Maul without him having used the dbl bladed lightsaber at least once in a duel. Also, Mighella unleashed a torrent of Lightning on him and he was unfazed by that... Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler Maybe next season opens up with Maul starting to laugh and saying: Just Kidding. Sidious gets a scared expression on his face as Maul gets to his feet, totally unaffected by the lightning due to the power of hatred coursing through him, extends his hand and summons Savage's dbl bladed saber to his hand. And then the duel really begins. Sidious looses and runs away...or they are interrupted by someone.
Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler In the trailers Maul is dueling Sidious with a red saber, but I think he might use the Darksaber in the actual episode. Maybe they didn’t want to spoil Viszla dying so they replaced the saber for the trailer, after Maul "claiming" the weapon officially it would make sense that he used it from that point on [/spoiler]
Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler It's quite obvious that in the trailer Vizsla will die because he is no match for Maul, so it wasn't really a big thing to exclude it in the trailer.
Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler I pray it doesn't look like Sidious is struggling. I'd rather he have to run off because someone is coming (Obi-Wan? So he can finish Maul off again, its only proper...) than he lose and run away a la Grievous.
