I do have to admit that I love their poster.

Congrats on being a GoH, Lin. Just promise to be a good boy and not pick any fights with the other GoH's, OK? :p

ShadowCon is a bit more SCA than anything, right?

To be clear, Shadowcon STARTED as the Christmas Party of one of the SCA houses, Shadow Legion.
It quickly evolved out of Papa Kane and Mama Illissa's house and to a hotel. So yes, there's a lot of SCA influence, but it's not directly related to the SCA, nor is it a recognized event.

Interesting. A party that evolved into a con.

Yeah, there are a lot of SCA, gamers, and some of the usual suspects from MSC. They've had it at the Wilson World (near the old Mall Of Memphis location) and the Holiday Inn on Mt. Moriah. I haven't been in at least two years. Last one I attended was just before Bushi Tales came out. I think I dropped some postcards off for their freebie table and said hi to a few folks last year.

I was really surprised they asked me to attend. Looking forward to seeing how this one will differ from MSC at the same hotel.

    And I promise I won't start anything, Tim. ;)

That's what my daddy taught me- "Don't start it, but damn well finish it if someone does!"

Hell, if I can be civil to TG and MF I can be civil to just about anyone.

Oh, they asked me if I could do the badge art. Dave and I are going to team-up on that.
