    How many people can see the parallels given in the Star Wars prequels and the current state of our own "old republic"? Look at it: Nobody with a brain has real rational faith in our current leadership (democrats and republicans alike) and underneath it all knows it's ALL CORRUPT and ripe for "Strong Leadership". Heck, even the "Clone Wars" bears a striking resemblance to a current war that began upon false pretenses! (They both were born of fictitious threat!-Fear as well as ignorance) :)
