I would say animated series because you really can't get actors that can replace Mark, Carrie, and Ford. It would not be right.

Tell me more about the book becaue I bought a used copy of it but I never read it. I really enjoyed the Jedi Academy Trilogy. Where does this book stand in comparison to the JA trilogy.

 

It has been maded itnto everything else. A book, comic book, video game and it evenhad its own music soundtrack. Not only will we see Guri we would see a little action between Xizor and Leia.

at the moment the saga is unbalanced with 1,2 then clone wars then 3,4,5 & 6

Shadows is the only EU book I have read. An animated series of SOTE would be awesome.

I hated SOTE. I had high hopes, and I'm a fan of the author's other work, a big fan. But I just didn't like it.

 

I will vote for a Shadows of the Empire cartoon.

SotE is one of the worst novels I've read. The writing is horrible, and the story isn't much better.

It's interesting to see that so many liked it so much.

 

I think the Zahn trilogy done in the Clone Wars animation style would be great...with a few minor adjustments to mesh with the PT better.

 

I liked SOTE but the Thrawn Trilogy was even better... nevertheless, give me a SOTE cartoon and I'm happy...LOL

its not that im particularly a big fan of SotE but i do think that to balance the current saga on DVD we need some form of cartoon set in the rebellion era

why do we need more clone wars cartoons???

 

Yah, I don't see why another Clone Wars cartoon would be nessessary. We need to see more of the Rebellion and Shadows of the Empire.

 

How about an all-CGI version of SOTE?

 

I have the comic books and I thought they were tight. I also read that Lucas himself said that if the story would have been given to him before Jedi, he would have loved to make a movie about it. An animated series would be very awesome and I would definatley like it, or even a DvD special animated show, the actors are all still around to reprise their voices so it would be awesome.

 

Anime versin of this would be great!
