Who wants to go in a group to see this? I'm thinking Burbank on Saturday so we can have lunch and then watch the movie. Any takers?

I'll have to check, but I know they have a Fuddruckers, Sushi, Mediterranean, Mexican, Burbank Bar & Grill, NY Pizza, Brazilian and a Hooters. I'll check on the Red Robin for you.

It will be a fantastic good time. SJ, it's not that we have to go to Red Robin, I was just suggesting one option. Whereever the rest of you decide we should have lunch is fine with me.

Thanks GF. I need to know a time to meet and a time to see the movie. Suggestions?

(edit) I'm thinking we catch the 7:25pm showing so we can meet around 3 in the afternoon to eat and actually have time to eat and get in line if there is one?

SJ the 7:25pm screening was the one we were thinking of too and a 3pm meetup time sounds good.[face_dancing]

I'll see if I can make it. I'm working a lot on school these days, and my birthday is around that time too, so I don't know. But if I can, I will go!:)

Ok, cool. I'll get my ticket on monday/tuesday. I'm waiting for some paypal money to come in. MZ, if you do plan on coming with us, please let one of us know so that maybe one of us can pick you up or get someone to drop you off. We're meeting at 3pm on Saturday so that we can have time for lunch and not rush to eat.

I saw this fine film on Friday morning.
I still favor Daniel Craig as the best James Bond, and the most like Ian Fleming originally wrote the character.
While still a fun and fulfilling movie, it did not match the plot, drama, and spectacle of Casino Royale, which is still the best Bond film ever, IMHO. Just so you get some perspective, Goldfinger is a close second.

P.S. Olga Kurylenko is HOT! ;)

    JJ,

I second the notion on Olga being a HOT smokin' pistol! I did realize though that in this movie, it was about aggressively going after the bad guy, which he did. The movie also went into the political undertones of energy, natural resources and what kind of policy corruption influences. Did you notice what kind of SUV he drove at the end? Also, all Bond movies have had the current political atmosphere in most, if not all, Bond movies, which always made it more interesting.

Now I'm waiting to see if they'll show the origins of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. in the coming films.

It was a great movie, I'll try and see it again next weekend.

I concur that Daniel Craig is probably the best Bond ever. As I was saying Saturday, he's attractive without being a glamour boy and therefore a lot more believable as a spy. People forget that spies are supposed to 'fit in' not stand out in a crowd. For the same reason, the choice of actor to play Felix was also good. Judy Densch (sp?) is the best M ever. The heroines were classically beautiful. The movie was a lot of fun, but I think the casting was the best part of the movie. I'm glad I pointed out Saturday all the current events references, but I noticed something else after Sol Jedi left. Both Bond and Olga (I forget the character's name) got closure at the end, thus giving them a "quantum of solace." Yes, I know the evil organization was called "Quantum." But, I think the title was indicating both.

GForce & Mary lent me 'Casino Royale,' which I haven't seen, yet. JJ, you are about the fourth person to tell me it's an even better movie than 'Quantum.' I'm really looking forward to watching it.
