Pretty ironic that the guy who played Gimli in LOTR now plays a dwarf in Shannara.

I actually like the show enough to keep watching it. It's not great, but not bad. I thought the special effects would be worse but they hold up.

And I agree. Although, Allanon just got stabbed with a magic sword and vanished. Is he about to pull a Gandalf and level up?

I finally got around to watching the show. You know the saying, "The book was better," well, yeah, and that's not exactly the highest bar to clear. I liked the architecture of the elven palace of Arborlon... and... umm... Amberle was very pretty... I seem to have run out of positive things to say. It was clearly Shannara for an MTV audience, which is not me.

 

This was some horrible ****.
