There are so many moments that I loved. The ending was my favorite, though.

 

"TRAITOR!"

 

I also think the ending was the best scene.

 

But dat dream sequence doe!

 

Rey walks along a high green path with the vast ocean below.

 

"Thank you, father."

 

Particularly since it was, presumably, the same island surrounded by ocean she had seen in her dreams.

 

"What girl ?!"

 

Everytime Han Solo and Rey were onscreen.

 

Rey assumed the position .....

..... she stood exactly where Luke did when he faced Vader in the corridor on Bespin.

 

Two moments I really, really loved that I think showed what JJ brought to this project ...

That little tiny moment where Rey is eating (or finished) and she just decides to put the dusty old fighter pilot helmet on her head.

It's a little thing but it just makes me believe that "YES. This is a real person in this universe."

I think actually the movie suffered a little bit by not having a little more of that in the first act. We needed to stay with Rey a little more, like ANH's first act sticks with Luke and lets the film breathe a bit more.

The second moment I really loved was when Han basically just says "You got bigger problems, women always find out the truth" ... that line is so damn perfect.

Virtually everything Han said in this movie was so .... freaking Han. They really wrote his character well and he brings so much reality and warmth to the movie. Great job with that character, a total home run.

 

For me I loved a lot of it but man something about Kylo punching his chest trying to "man up" through the pain just awesome!

 

Too many to number!!

 

Rey: Is it even possible to jump to Hyperspace from inside the hanger?
Han: I never ask myself that question until after I've done it!

 

"That lightsaber...belongs to me."

"Come get it."

Thanks for sharing some of those great Han quotes. Forgot about the last two on this page but those were great.

 

This may sound corny but... seeing the title with the music and Episode VII on the screen ... such a wave of emotion

 

Rey and Finn taking the Millennium Falcon--I loved how they both worked in tandem to get away from the baddies. The fact that they both messed up but made it through teamwork and ended becoming friends from it was wonderful.

 

There are many, but one above all others - when Rey Force-pulls Luke's old saber out of the snow. It's archetypal Star Wars - Rey looks amazed she did it, looks at the saber, then looks at Ren with steely determination as she fires it up, accompanied by Luke's "Twin Sunset" theme from ANH. The whole moment has an air of destiny fulfilled about it and it moves me to tears every time - totally iconic ...
