starving people and then making them do physical challenges for food is genius. I wish I had thought of the idea.

You would have p!$$ed your pants watching the guy cry and praise the lord as he licked his plate.

The thing about Survivour is everyone who's chosen is instantly unlikeable...it makes it all the more fun...there is something about people who want to do that kind of thing...they are so annoying...and when they are starving and crying...

It makes you think there is a god...and what's more he is a just god

 

Starving people is nothing new. I remember the end of one series of the Japanese game show "Endurance". They had the two last peeps sat face to face in the freezing cold with cold rice in front of them. First one to eat lost. Talk about elation when it was over...

 

of course. how silly of us. you've seen and done everything before......

 

How boring must everything be when nothing is new

 

LOL - you've got to be a certain kinda tit-like quality to particpate in either BB or Survivor

Take Paul for example [coughs]....he was on BB last year...

 

I watch survivor but I think BB is great. The E4 coverage last year made it even better.

I used to watch "Tarrent on TV" when they used to show Endurance on there. That's only why I remember it. If I didn't, then I'd probably be more interested in Survivor.

Anyhow, can you really say anything on TV nowadays is fresh, exciting and new, and never done before? Not really. "24" is a standard insider plot mystery, but the storyline and way it is told is what makes it great. And I am really enjoying it so far.

 

Actually Stories told in real time is not new...there was a drama in the 70's that used the concept and there was that dire Johnny Depp film the flirted with the real-time thriller senairio...

 

Exactamundo... the story might be relatively familiar, but the way it's produced is something I've never seen before and to me is highly original.

Although the split-screen bits remind me a heckuva lot of Andromeda Strain

 

Now that film is a godamn classic..

The book is tons better... but the film is still a classic. I love the whole sequence of them going down into the facility, through all the screens and filters!

 

Don't think I;ve seen it. But if its an old movie...then I probably have.

Buffy was crap last night. I'm not enjoying Buffy and Angel at all this year. Neither of them seem to be going anywhere.

And making Angel a you know what has done nothing so far that you know who has been introduced.

And are we actually going to see a new episode of Buffy. I feel like I've been watching the same episode for the last 3 weeks. Top class acting by Emma Caulfield last night though, even if I did want to smack her one
