Heard it many times. Great Zeppelin song, and great song in general.
heard it to the point where i don't ever want to hear it again.
i would like to hear a steel drums version.
Heard the full song at least a few times.
You can also buy it on amazon.
is there a melodica version?
i meant like a bunch of sets playing it together, but that is pretty cool.
I've heard it.
Heard it more times than I'd like. Definitely not my favorite Zeppelin song.
Yeah, I agree with this... it's very cliche and self-indulged to me, to the point where it's nearly unlistenable. I feel the same way about Piano Man by Billy Joel and All You Need is Love by The Beatles.
That, plus the fact that everyone who played guitar in high school wanted to learn it for a talent show.
I have heard it and actually really enjoy it. Perhaps because I've never witnessed any talent shows. I may also be a touch too young to have heard it overplayed, or may be listening to the wrong stations.
I'm gonna watch that tonight now!
i hate it when robert plant says "oh, we can't play that one anymore because it was such a special song for a special time blah blah blah" because it DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING. it might be the most meaningless song ever written. it SOUNDS like it means something, but it doesn't. at all.
He's full of ****. He just can't hit the notes for the ending part anymore,
that's true too, actually.
There's that really silly urban legend that if you play Stairway to Heaven backwards it's about getting stuff out of Satan's tool shed.
