It was claimed that the “heavy” bunch of keys included those to unlock drawbridges, conference rooms and the restaurant.

Moriarty's totally holding a masque in that restaurant.

 

I'm guessing he spelled "Get Sherlock" with is pasta.

 

Watched "The Hounds of Baskerville" last night. First time for maybe nine months. The adaptation of the story I remembered exactly, but after waiting so long to watch it again many of the great lines (although I'd not forgotten them) were able to sneak up on me quite nicely. Chief amongst them I think, "Did we just break into a top secret military base to investigate a RABBIT?"

 

There's only two series so far, right?

 

Yes. Two three episode series and the third starts production early next year (or whenever Moffatt gets done with S7/any 50th anniversary related stuff for Doctor Who)

 

They've said January several times. And Gatiss finished the script for the first episode maybe a month ago. So they're on track to start shooting in January as planned, and perhaps air in late summer.

 

Which would fit with the "a year and a half" interval between the series.

 

Yeah... even though Moffat originally said he didn't want to have that big a gap between S2 and S3. I think that was before they realized Benedict and Martin and all the writers were going to be busy with various projects through the end of the year, though

 

And, of course, Moffat himself is a busy man

I really don't think I'm going to be able to last very long after the UK air date. Sorry, PBS, you just take too long to air these things.

 

Try being in Austria, where you would have to wait another year for it to air (series 1 and 2 only aired last spring here) and they're dubbed into German.

 

Or in Slovakia, where they're not aired at all.

 

Or Mars where we don't have TVs.

 

You guys have GOT to stop bumping this thread when there's no pertinent news to announce. I get really excited to see something, and then there's nothing.

At least change the thread title. So when it's bumped and there is news, I'll know.

 

You do realize there's never going to be any actual news or spoilers to announce. This is Moffat we're talking about

Bad news, but I'd rather wait for it than not get it at all.

 

I was expecting it to air in the autumn 2013, anyway, so not much disappointment from me.
