I just think that some speculation is less likely than others, and that pretty much all signs in TPM and AOTC point to not even trying to keep the secret. Could that completely change in Ep. III? Sure. I just find that highly unlikely given what we've seen so far.

Actually, re-reading how gomer described it, I think it could still happen. It could be Dooku whom we suspect is Vader.

Obi-wan is lying, and the audience will still know that Obi-wan is lying, but they won't necessarily know the truth.

Of course, the line "who was once a pupil of mine, before he turned to evil" kind of gives it away.

Who knows, it could still be possible!

My judgement is that Go-Mer has been warned...oh about ONE BILLION* times that that "Gee, you don't like the PT because you have lost your inner child" nonsense is ridiculous, condescending, innaccuracte and incredibly annoying. If he can't keep his armchair pyschoanalytical blatherings to himself then he'd better get used to being banned.


On topic, hasn't GL himself said that the people watching SW in order (1-6) will know that Anakin=Vader before TESB? I'm sure I read a quote from him to that effect (he said that those people's reactions at the end of TESB would be "..he finally told Luke!").
