Amph Shia LaBeouf Announces Retirement?

Thank god he announced it on Twitter because it would most likely take him 280 minutes to announce publicly with all of the stammering.

 

That was good, but it would have been even better if you'd said "240 minutes." Because . . . you see? You see what I did there? It's those small little detail tweaks that make a good joke into a great one and separate us comedy geniuses from those of you who are simply very funny. You're well on your way though. You'll be on my level soon. And I'm not jealous. See, I help those who are of lesser skill than I. Come on up the ladder, that's what I say. Room for us all at the top.

i might be the only person that likes indiana jones and the crystal of the skull. sure, it's dumb but all the fifties stuff in it was great and it's just so entertaining. and i thought laboof was really good in it. but i suspect he might be too insane now to take over the franchise.

 

I liked it. Harrison Ford and the return of Karen Allen overshadow whatever other flaws exist in the movie.

 

karen allen looks as though she stepped out of her real life directly into the movie but it's okay.

 

Just watch "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles" for a look at that. And track down the original Old Indy wraparounds for an added perspective.

I'd retire too if I was an actor, but not for the reasons that he is crying about. I'd make half a dozen movies or so, it's all I would need. I mean with that amount of money, how much more do you really need? Then I'd announce my retirement, but be brutally honest about it by telling everyone I did it all for the money. The public would flip out of course, but I wouldn't care since my family would be taken care of for the rest of their lives, and then their children as well as long as they spent it wisely. I'd even build myself a Scrooge McDuck style vault complete with diving board so I can take a swim in all my money everyday. It'd be great my friends, truely great.....
But yeah, Shia. I don't think he's serious one bit. Aren't they making Transformers 4? And we all know we simply can't live without another Bay film starring Shia.

As of "I Am Not Famous" baghead appearance, I am now having more fun watching him in real life then I ever have in any of his movies.

 

I was never really much of a fan of LaBeouf's, but I have to say it's a little sad to watch a young guy like this about to do a Porkins right into the Death Star that is fame.

 

He's not actually crazy. He's just trying to make himself relevant by plagiarizing Joaquin Phoenix and Casey Affleck.

 

That didn't work out so well for Phoenix and if a massively talented actor like Joaquin Phoenix couldn't pull it off, I doubt Shia can.

 

I didn't really get Shia hate. He was decent in bad movies, Transformers, and despite Ford's comment that he was stupid his performance in Indy 5 was pretty good. I think perhaps one too many stupid comments in interviews?

 

I think Shia's just being irrational and is pouting like a boss.

 

His offscreen persona is annoying. I do love Disturbia and he's fine in it, if not breathtakingly awesome or anything.
