What is Force Friday?

 

It's coming Friday September 4th. Star Wars products and merchandise release day, though hopefully a few leaks will pop up before then to satisfy our insatiable need for spoilers.

Kira's BUMPER CAR - Rey's Speeder.

TILT-A-WHIRL - X-Wing

THE CAROUSEL - Millennium Falcon.

HALL OF MIRRORS - New style Star Destroyer (disputed)

THE TUNNEL OF LOVE - Kor Sella's ship (my speculation).

Feel free to add more if known.

 

seems like half of one of the Journey to the Force Awakens books is already online, but none of the VII pages are in there.

I wonder if Kylos Lego Lander the same craft as shown in the concept art? the one with the red wings parked on the ground next to a dais of troops kind of like what you see in trailer 2. Or is that red version another larger version of his lander craft?

no the ship in the film is different and has no tie fighter parts. i do like that tie ship though and i hope it get's used. it's this one.

 

well ive seen that one and it just looks like a shuttle without the center fin...the lego one looks more tie fighterish- mabe its the angles.

 

it's exactly the same.

 

In both this model and the leaked images, it looks like the upper half of the main wing and the lower wings could be retractable.

I wonder if they'll use a Ralph Mcquarrie concept art. That might be something.

 

I'm interested now, many months ago I revealed on here about a rumoured wrecked Snowspeeder (that was the terminology used to tell me). I think many of us, including myself, thought this particular rumour was off the mark and it was likely just using the term to describe a similar designed Airspeeder... seems may be there was something in it????

Don't take this the wrong way but why not?

 

There's enough Mcquarrie influence in this film. Too much, actually. I'd prefer J.J and company would think outside the box. A little Mcquarrie goes a long way. I don't like the idea of using aborted designs. I want something bold and fresh. New iconic ships for Star Wars. Plus toys were already made for that particular snow speeder design.

 

Oh I did't know that. I do agree with you in a sense, as having fresh new things in star wars is something I do support.

There are some nice Joe Johnson snowspeeder designs that could be used.

 

Yeah, I'm not certain why but it was big before.

 

I'm guessing the snowspeeder is what Rey and Finn use in the chase on the Evil Castle planet. I'm also guessing that it won't look anything like the Rebel's snowspeeders but more like a speeder bike.

 

yeah i remembered that . it's probably a snowtrooper's speeder.

 

444 pieces in the lego set. One hell of a speeder bike.

Also that McQuarrie speeder art looks like it was based off the ANH T16, so doubt it'll be the basis for a snow speeder too.

 

Posted this on the Finalizer thread, but probably fits better here. Blueprints for a bunch of TFA spaceships, including Kylo's shuttle, special forces and black squadron TIEs and new X-Wing.
