Shopping Tips Thread

    I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where we could give tips on shopping. For example, when and where. What stores have the best selection of figures, when their shipments come in, when they restock, etc. I figure a lot of us have a little info that we can put together that would make our figure searches more productive.

    It's very hard to say what store will put out SW merchandise and when they will do it. For exapmle, not all Wal*Marts will put out new stuff on the same exact day. It's up to the stores to order SW stuff whenever they need more merchandise. If all stores of a certain chain put things out at the same time, then it would be much harder to attain them because everyone would know where and when to go.

    If you're looking for a hot new figure, don't bother checking at all past lunch time. If the pro scalpers didn't get it, the casual ones did. Get up early or just wait till it becomes widely avaliable.
