We need to decide what show we want to do: Shore Con or the Mega show.

I will not be doing Mega Show...plus that is the date of the co-NYC/LI picnic.

And as for Shore Con...I am not sure.

We can not do it ourselves, and almost everyone else is going to be at Dragon Con

 

Why can't we do Shorecon ourselves? I'm down for Shorecon. We can bring this up at the workshop.

 

I am looking at this as a monetary issue.

Who has $150 to drop on the table?

Who has anything to sell?

I mean, for just the distribution of propaganda...that is a lot of money for 1 day.

 

If we can't make a presence at the Shore COn or Mega Show, at very least we will attend and distribute fliers, spread the word.

right now...I am changing my mind on attending the Con.

If I get a new job, then yes, I would consider going, but I can not drop $30 to enter a Con...plus do my NJO duties and functions.

 

I think it should be one or the other. I don't want to do a table or anything, honestly. We're not ready yet, and most of our council members won't be able to dedicate a lot of time to manning a table. I think handing out flyers and getting our name out there is a good idea, that's if we have any printed up.

 

I have about 30 flyers left over from the last event....whatever it was....so we're fine on flyer coverage. Besides, it won't take much for me to print up some new ones.

 

If Shorecon is the same weekend as Dragoncon, I doubt I can make it. Gary and I might be going away that weekend. *awaits Gary's response*

 

well we are goiing to Shorecon here's their website I will be there in my Kit Fisto costume see you there.

Okay. That's Gary's birthday weekend, so he and I have to discuss what we're doing and see if we can make Shorecon.

 

well...after the show...we can hang out...if I do not go...

So is this a go or what? Man I don't even remember what the verdict was from yesterday.

 

Its a go print out some flyers I will be there on Sat. and Sun. not sure about Fri.

 

Maybe I'll do what Chuckles suggested and print out 2,000 flyers. We could drop them from the space shuttle.

 

Nah just drop them from the falcon faster getaway. I think no more than 200 and that's streching it.

 

This is next weekend already how many plan on attending. I will be there in full Costume.

 

I most likely will just catch up with you afterwards.

Well I looked on their site now times listed LOL. I will probably show up around 10 at the latest. But if no one else is going I'm noy going either. BTW just read there will be some type of costume contest think I can win.
