Oh, well.....a conservatively-run simulation using a legitimate aircraft program has proven that the X-Wing is far too unstable to fly with a human onboard unless it is computer-controlled, much like a Harrier. Inputs to the system would need to be on the order of 125 corrections a second to the electromechanical actuators. Actuators that can deliver that kind of performance cost about $1,000 per piece, and that's a little out of most individual's price-range. Sorry kids.....a builder, I am, but I ain't got Northrop's facilities or money.....FLOL!!!!
