ST Should Abrams/Kasdan "de-cannonize" the concept of Midi-Chlorians?

    I'd like get back to a more more mysterious Force and possibly explain that Midi-Chlorian count was an ancient theory and was proven to be wrong.

    Maybe we can see new Force users appearing with no Midi-Cholrians, thus how guys like Finn are able to wield laser swords remains unknown and an "awakening" in the Force so now anyone, even Kylo Ren can somehow be a Force user.

    Thoughts?

    While we're at it...what else should be thrown out from the OTA and prequels? lol

    We've already had discussions about midichlorians in other threads here, which can still be used for that. This doesn't warrant its own thread, and definitely not for the "what else should be thrown out from the OTA and prequels? lol" angle. Locking.
