ST Should Coruscant or Chandrilla make an appearance in episodes VIII and IX?

I don't think they wanted to destroy Coruscant. There weren't even discussions about that system between the members of the First Order we've seen.

Coruscant is a Centrist planet. The Centrist faction of the New Republic Senate helped found the First Order. I imagine Coruscant helps to fund the First Order

 

That's also what i think and one of my reasonings for it being the capital of the First Order

 

I don't think the First Order was ever strong enough military-wise to retake the Core.

 

I think there was no military action necessary for the FO to get Coruscant or other Coreworlds into their fold.

 

I guess we won't know til next December

 

The planets I'm hoping to see the most are Coruscant, Tatooine, Dathomir, Mandalore, Mustafar and maybe Naboo. Dathomir and Mandalore were never in a SW movie and these two planets are pretty popular in the cartoons and books.

 

I think Dathomir and Mandalore, as conceived in TCW, are best kept to the cartoon realm (where they looked pretty good). Would need to be changed significantly for live action, I think, particularly as it would be difficult to find a suitable real world location for either of them.
