Should Gray Davis be recalled?

Yes.

While I don't live in CA, from what I hear and know what crazy laws are on the books, I say he has done a terrible job as Gov.

I would probably vote for Arnold if I could. He sounds as if he is determined to make CA a much better state that and I'm not sure if McClintock (sp) is still in the race.

I don't think it is right to mount a recall campaign just because your still mad that your guy lost.

As a soon to be voting California citizen next march I will vote yes on the recall and cast my vote for Arnold.

And its not a republican powerplay, Davis has ruined california. I've seen what his cuts have done to the schools. He must go.

If you lived in california and your friend is told that his english class is being cut do the budget and must go to nightschool or not graduate for another year, i'd think you'd vote for recalling davis.

I voted no, and am sad to have seen the recall pass, but what can you do.

 

I voted yes, and am enthusiastic Davis is gone. Gray Davis was a parasite that leeched the riches away from California and chucked them down into the drain, and along with the Democratic state congress there was such an orgy of taxing and spending that it wrecked the state economy and caused a majority of arguably the most liberal state in the country to throw Davis out of office.

Gray Davis represents the tax-and-spend soul of the Democratic Party. That's why just about every major Democrat in the country (both Clintons, Gore, Dean, Clark, etc.) was so quick to leap to his side. The Davis platform was a preview of the federal government if they could ever get control of Congress and the Senate back. Higher taxes! Naked payoffs to special interest groups like bureaucrats and unions! Drivers licenses for illegal aliens!

Now if only the Democratic state congress could be removed as well, California could truly heal.

As it is, Arnold has his work cut out for him. But god speed.
