What if Kylo began to train his own apprentice in a future film?

Or should Snoke and Kylo be the sole darksiders of the ST?

I imagine the knights of Ren as a group of warriors from all over the galaxy that he brought together for one purpose: to kill Jedi. The knights themselves were recruited more so for their fighting skills than any Force sensitivity. He trained them in how to engage a jedi, so they would be a similar level to General Grievous, not Force sensitive but still fierce warriors. So in effect they are all his students. That is my idea.

I also like the idea of the working together as a pack, similar to wolves. kylo is the alpha, everyone follows his lead and the others are used to surround an opponent and exhaust/weaken him allowing Kylo to make the kill.

If he lives to the next trilogy while still being a dark sider then I would be okay with him getting an apprentice.

"You're not whining with significantly annoying inflection! You're making me look like a bad master! You're just like my father! You're disappointing! You're HOLDING ME BACK!"

...the answer to the thread title question is no.

Imagining that he is capable of being a Master, and acquiring is own even more dysfunctional apprentice would be a very Kylo thing to do.

He is the master of the Knights of Ren so that pretty much says he teaches somebody.

Kylo Ren having an apprentice would be a perfect tie-in for the fourth trilogy and the foundation of increasing the Knights of Ren to a massive arm or even navy.

Well there is some room for that during the time between VII and VIII for that to happen but this is to be set in the expanded universe after VIII and IX

Depends on how the writers do Kylo Ren, and how many years have passed between 7 and 8.

He says he is torn. Maybe his imaginary light side twin could be trained by his dark side ego

Therefore we need more force sensitives with dark side potential. And nope, not Rey. :p

No, there's too many characters in the films already.

I don't think he is stable enough, to be honest. If anything, he has become "master" to Rey already, however, since she seems to have learned from him how to use her force powers in more than one way.

    Right now no:

-He's still an apprentice himself, and an "unstable" one at that.
-The movie already has tons of villain as it is.

But if he remains a villain and can pull himself together and become more stable in future films, then sure why not.

He already asked Rey. If Luke is a washout, perhaps Kylo will be her only hope?

Kylo should definitely have a Mini-me. Dressed in the same Kylo mask and outfit, a touch more diminutive of course. Little red lightsaber with crackling red quillions. Follows him everywhere.
