ST Should Luke be single, married, divorced, or a widower?

kinda difficult to decide... i think he should be Widowed.. so we can have a very "sober" and focused Jedi master =)

Omg, guys, that has been the most entertaining 58 pages I had to read through. It took a week and my eyes are swollen, but I will not complain.

Given (=IMHO, before it starts a heated discussion) that the books featuring Luke's love life and affairs have been probably the worst in EU history, I wouldn't mind Ep7 go on a different path. Luke is a character embracing so much love and care, I simply can't see him living a life where he can't share these feelings with someone. Maybe at one point somewhere between ROTJ and Ep7, he was romantically involved/married to a woman but lost her with her unborn child and that tragedy shocked him so much he never wanted to marry again. With possibly new force-sensitive children being born again accross the galaxy, I could see Luke devoting his care and love to raise, nurture and train them as good as he was.

[Side note: in the EU, among all the weird affairs he had, I was most fond of Teneniel Djo. The two of them had kind of an interesting and a different kind of chemistry than with the others.]

 

Can he change the Jedi philosophy so that he can have more than one bride? Like the mormons.

On Monday he can be married, on Tuesday he can be single - a day to take stock, on Wednesday the baddie could force choke his second wife and he becomes a widower, on Thursday his third wife can leave him so he is single, on Friday he could go out on a date with his fourth wife (they're trying to rekindle the romance so he's kinda seeing her), on Saturday his third wife can issue him with divorce papers so he becomes a divorcee, and on Sunday he could chillax with his first, fourth and fifth wives.

So yeah, single, married, divorced, widower - all of em I say!

On a side note, what the hell are the days called in the GFFA?

Well, SW did start in the 70's

(For those that don't know, the UK Labour government introduced a 3 day working week to combat strikes in the power industry in the 70's)

 

In honor of tbe the phantom menance, I think luke should be in the middle of nasty divorce. He could have 3 kids. 1 he's sure is his.. the other have weird horns which make him doubt there his.

We can spend countless screen hrs on the trial. Luke can hire jim carey to represent him but for some reason he can't lie. We find out his wife is a secret sith witch who can cast spells. He calls up mr faulk and its goes terribly wrong for him

luke shouldn't be perfect, what I would like to see is for him to have 2-3 kids with one of them being from another woman and have that kid live on tatooine, so he/she gets to be introduced the same way anakin and luke did, and have him hate his father for leaving his mother but ultimately become the protagonist for the series.

 

I would like to see Luke adopt two children, a older boy and a younger girl, during a time when he was carrying out refugee work in the name of his mother, Padme.
