Since Son of Dathomir left Darth Maul's fate still hanging would you like to see Darth Maul be finished in book form like the Ventress book or do you feel that Son of Dathomir was a satisfying end to Maul.
Bonus Question : What would you think the book would be about ? (Locations ,Characters etc etc.)

I think the story resolved his arc sufficiently. Part of me still wants him to be dead, of course, but for them to kill him off would require another story about him, and I'm no longer interested enough to want that.

What would be the most extreme scenario ?
Maul survives until RotJ era, then he becomes new arch villain after the death of Emperor ? Is there any chance ? :D
I mean Dooku was 80 years old right ? How old he would be in RotJ ? 60 or 70 ?
He would be better villain than A'sharad Hett...

In my head his arc was wrapped up in The Phantom Menace.

No, it should be dealt with via Rebels or a spin-off movie

Spin-off movie. Park. vs McGregor. There can be only one!

They could call it "Old Wounds", or something.

I sense it will either be in Rebels or a spinoff.

Oh, oh, ohh, Vader could track him down in Rebels and kill him!

They could call it "Resurrection", or something.

Frankly, after how much they've milked Dooku v Maul and Sidious v Maul, I'm seeing Vader v Maul as a fait accompli.

I'm not sure that a book could hold him down for very long, but if that's what you think best...

I'd much rather see a film that completes his storyline and includes the content from SoD (even as a flashback). Maul as a character would maintain my interest far more than Han, Boba, etc in a stand alone movie.

I'd prefer a film; bringing him into Rebels just to fight Vader is the worst type of fanboyism possible. Which means Disney are probably going to do it.

Aren't there supposed to be 2 more arcs with Maul in TCW? OR were rumored anyway?
I'll go with TPM but wouldn't be surprised to see him in Rebels and or somehow be in the ST.
$5 that they come out with an Obi-Wan movie where Obi-Wan faces both Vader and Maul between ROTS and ANH.
    Old Wounds works.

A Rebels appearance seems the most likely to me.

They could do a whole series of his further adventures.

A Maul spin-off would be very popular, but Disney seem to be focused on OT characters.

But I think Force Smuggler is right, there was meant to be one more (or two) TCW arcs to end his story.

Maul could be used as an interesting figure to explore the criminal underground and the future of Mandalore.

Now that we know Maul is a poor sith, I would like to see him transformed into an effective thug.

Funnily, while I originally felt Mauldalore fanfiction of the worst kind, it's grown on me, and if that's where Disney see the money I'm actually not averse to the Mauldalorians being the NEU's big criminal faction during the Dark Times.

I'd prefer to see more of Black Sun again, but TCW's use of them makes me think they're not seen as popular enough, but the Mauldalorians would be a decent enough alternative.

If we get a live-action series, Underworld, then we'll see all the criminal organisations again. May be even Maul.

Why does Maul have to die for his story to be wound up? I would rather it be left open so we can see more if need be. I like Maul. :) Or have him retire on a beach and give advice to main characters. (Can Zabrak Nightbrothers grow beards?)

Sorry, I don't agree with you there. Rebels is a different animal and Maul won't be appearing in it. Spin off movie, neither, animation to live action don't tend to go well. Book for me or better yet, none at all

For me he died at Naboo and that's it. For those that like his continued cyborg existence I hope however he ends is well for you.
