That will probably not happen.
Get clear, Wedge! You can't do anymore good back there!
Why is it wrong to have gay people in Star Wars? I am saying that it is not necessary for gayness to be in Star Wars from what we've seen. Do you have a problem with gay people?
And I can barely understand your post. So, Luke isn't straight - he's staright? Greait.
Forget it, Jake, it's Chinatown.
This thread has really devolved it seems.
I suggest you re-read the first page.
I'm having a hard time being intelligent and open minded about this. I have nothing wrong with gay people , nothing wrong with gay people in films. I just don't see how it works in Star Wars. I'm struggling. I'm sorry I just struggle with it.
Harry Potter and Star Wars should be rated R, or, at the very least, PG-13, all of them.........
How about a couple of Jedis go to a gay bar while looking for an assassin? Or when looking for transportation?
Like Luke Skywalker and Dexter Jettser!!!!!!!!!!!
No, they shouldn't.
I hope that nobody/No- One in the sequel trilogy looks ANYTHING like that!!!!!!
They are filled with all that bad content. Ever read the Deathly Hallows?????
ANH nearly got a G rating until Lucas added a shot of dead people. Star Wars has very little gore and mostly only action violence. Studies have shown that females in animated Disney cartoons wear as much revealing clothing as those in R-rated movies.
I am sort of a movies ratings buff.
ANH nearly got a G Rating? Have you ever watched the ending of ANH? Where millions of people are burned and die in an explosion, including Governor Grand Moff Willhuff Tarkin?????
Heavens; just imagine what a tawdry place that would be.
Here's some interesting stuff about the ratings system.
Action violence does not merit the strongest ratings because ACTION: they obviously are fictional events. While a movie set during the Holocaust when fewer than a dozen die will often get an R. Because: SUBJECT MATTER.
I don't understand/get the purpose of those pictures/pics!!!!!!!!!
What the heck do those wierd alien chicks have to do with this??????
I don't understand what you're are you are trying to say. Remember the DS1 (Death Star One 1) explosion????
Remember how Han Solo burned alive some Imperial pilots/soldiers/officers so that Luke Skywalker could have room to blow up the Death Star One (DS1) and cause millions to die in that explosion???????
That sounds like a PG-13 film to me!!!!!!
JOKES, DUDE. PEOPLE JOKE ON HERE. WELCOME TO THE INTERNETS.
And that picture posted by Cooper was far more relevant than that pic you have there (and why do you feel the need to post the same pictures in different threads?). I understood what Cooper was saying.
SUBJECT MATTER. ACTION. SPACE OPERA.
I think there are some misconceptions here...gay people are actually people who do things. They don't just stand around doing nothing but being gay. They are not like zoo animals you only find in a glassed-in exhibit. You want a LGBTQ Star Wars character, you write a character who is gay, not a character whose only quality is their sexuality. That's just bad writing.
Dumbledore is (was) gay. Did Rowling send Harry to a gay club to have Dumbledore be gay? Sorry but that's silly. Check out Paranorman for another example.
Sure, include LGBTQ characters as long as they are well written characters and actually do something in the plot. That's basic to any character of any kind. Or don't if none of your characters are gay, simple as that.
Because it showed/including a character smiling, and I already had that picture saved on my computer and in the "copy" link, so I decided to use that one, because I'm am too lazy/ I'm am not in the mood to look for other smiling pictures............
Why are you so nitpicky????
Exactly!!!!! People aren't defined by stuff like that!!!!!
