Should we FEAR the DArk Side?

I know it's been discussed and re-discussed, but i still don't have a clear idea of the correct terminologi here... I mean, we say:"Fear the Dark Side", but the also:"Fear, Hatred, Anger, lead to the Dark Side do they...", or, something like that...
I wish this would be decided once and for all...

 

We shouldn't fear the darkside. Just accept that it exists and ignore it

 

We should not fear the darkside, as charis has already advised, but we certainly should not ignore it. The power of the darkside is expressed with the words "Fear the darkside" , but we do not necessarily have to fear the power of the darkside. But it can be defeated. If one focuses their feelings on the emotions of fear, anger, and hatred, and uses these emotions to inflict any sort of pain on someone, then they are said to be consumed by the darkside.
