Shouldn't they reveal the Traitor cover soon?

Considering that we've had the Enemy Lines II cover for a while...

 

Yeah well Im not sure if the authors done or what, just be patient...

 

I'm anxiously waiting for this one myself, IAmTheDarkSide.

 

Of course you don't know if the artist has finished yet or not. Or if the piece has been approved. Or if LFL is upset that something is 3mm to far to the right. Or if it's in the final graphics, labels, whatever it's called that is the final step before it's shown.

I don't think Rebel Stand's cover only being out for a little while means much if you're asking about Traitor's cover. For one Dave Seeley did both Enemy Lines covers and there's no way he's doing Traitor's.

Anyway so if I guessed I'd say it should appear at TOS around mid to late February.

Could be that they won't be releasing Traitor's cover for a while. We are left really speculating and debating over who the Traitor is, which is the kinda thing publishing companies love, it creates interest, which creates $ when the book's released. They will want to put a pic of the Traitor on the cover, which would give us a good idea of who it is. So, they might not want to be releasing cover images for a while.

 

I don't know, I remember when the SBS cover was released and it well before the book actually came out. BTW, when's the release date for Traitor? I've really gotta get my dates set out straight.

 

Or could it be that the traitor is one of the few major charactors not on the cover...just to throw you off......i mean...now that would be interesting......then again...the paperback covers rarely have lots of characters on them anyway...just 2-3...whereas the Hardcovers seem to like cramming a lot more on...

is Traitor the book that's coming before Destiny's Way or after?

 

Before.

 

It's the last one before Destiny's Way. Dark Journey came out just days ago, then the two Enemy Lines books and that is followed by Traitor which is followed by Destiny's Way.

Hope that helps. Here's to Del Rey having gone for quantity and quality this year. There were 5 books in 2000, but I don't think they came close as good as the 3 in 2001.

Agents of Chaos II: Jedi Eclipse and Balance Point were the same way in October 2000.

Destiny's Way is a hardcover.

Traitor and Destiny's Way are supposed to both be out in October only because of how the calender falls. Star Wars books come out the first Tuesday of the month (the only exceptions are delays and little things like movie tie-ins, they can go to whatever day they want). October starts on a Tuesday so Traitor should be out October 1st. Destiny's Way is scheduled for November. However November starts on a Friday so Destiny's Way will come out the preceding Tuesday which will be October 29th.

Both Truce at Bakura and Star by Star came out the same way.
