New Jersey Shriner's Hospital Event Invite

We are having a joint event with the local 501st chapter, the Garrison Cardia, on March 29th at 1pm to greet all the children and give them all toys.
We will be in costume, but can always use a couple of "plain clothes" people to help us out as we go around the hospital.
If anyone in interested in coming out to this event, please PM or email me directly no later then March 20th.
IF anyone would like to donate toys for this event, it would be greatly appreciated.

Since I may not be able to do ICONS...I may be able to do this.

Would that be new unwrapped toys? Or some good conditioned used toys?

 

New toys only please and no weapons, hospital rules.

OMG, I forogt that ICON was the same weekend! Well if you can't make it to this event, have fun at ICON.

But I may have to take on a 2nd PT job...so...

 

I'm gonna try my damnedest to make it to one of these. End of March may be kinda hectic, but, I'm gonna see if I can pull it off.

 

I'm gonna be up at school and try to do ICONS depending on my schedule, so I have to politely decline.

I was going to go ICON myself, but then I decided to save for Dragon Con instead. Plus I really like getting to visit the children. There will be more chances to do events together in the near future methinks.

 

Hate to be a pain but if you are considering going to this event, please contact me ASAP so I can give you directions and contact info for the hospital, etc. I spoke to Jeff from the 501st and he said all toys needed have been gathered and if you don't have a costume ready, we can always use "plain" clothes people to help those troopers who can't see very well and are always stepping on my jedi cloak!
