Sick of seeing Episode III spoilers in here...

I would just like to express my anger that in the discussion of many of these episodes, some people have repeatedly posted spoilers of specific events from Rots that one normally wouldn't know. This isn't the place for it, and it really upset me to read a few of them. This is for discussion of the cartoons and related EU or movies that have already been in existence! It should not be about anything more than rudimentary facts about Episode III. Anyone agree with me? So please, guys, leave it to another forum, cuz this isn't the place.

 

i agree it is very anoyying they say spoiler coming up but that doesn't realy help at all, i wish this was also a spoiler free place.

 

I agree, especially seeing as how the forum says that all EPIII spoilers are to be kept to the one specific thread. It makes it really hard to enjoy the forums when you're constnatly being sabotaged this way. Luckily, others warned me ahead of time, so I've been staying away from here recently--but I would really like to discuss the CW shorts, and I can't do it thanks to all the spoilers.

 

Get a life, if you don't want spoilers don't read message boards. Its like asking for non-popups or no porn on the internet. Your movie experience will be exactly the same since your are obviously going to watch it multiple times. You have already seen Eps 4, 5, and 6 so you already know how it ends.

 

I'm not spoiler free, but I agree with the author of this thread.

 

Neojedi18, I understand your anger, but some people get excited, and since actual illegal spoilers were posted on this site that are not suppose to be public until Saturday 04-02-2005, they consider this whole site spoiler material and post everywhere. Don't quote rules to me, becuase one axiom that has been consistent, is the law was meant to be broken, and everyone here has been breaking rules, regulations, and mandates like if it is out of style. People like cheebo who posted material from the ROTS audio drama. He shouldn't have recieved it early in the first place, but then in turn he shouldn't have been allowed to post its content until everything became official. I'm utterly surprised that LFL has not shut down this site.

You and everybody else has the right to be angry. But then, do you really have the right to be angry for the posting of material that should not have been allowed in the first place.

 

sorry you got spoiled but the cartoon does lead directly into rots so it is hard not to spoil people besides who can say what is a spoil to someone else i have no idea what other people do or dont know about the films but if you think about it most of us know whats gonna happen in rots because it is a prequal therefore is it really a spoiler to find out that anikain turns to vader and kills all the jedi cuz i thought eveyone knew all this stuff after seeing the ot

 

A couple of points:

1) neojedi18 -- I've banned a couple of people in the last couple of days and will continue to do so for any member who posts any spoiler of Episode III in this forum. There's no reason to. EVER. This is discussion of the Small Screen, not the large screen.

2) ARCstudent. You've been noted for baiting. Don't do it again.

3) vong333 -- there is to be no spoiler material posted outside of 3SA FOR ANY REASON for the stuff that is released (or supposed to be released) on 02-Apr. So you know not of what you speak.

4) R24d20 -- any Episode III information of any type is considered a spoiler and may result in your being banned.

Knightwriter and dp4m, I agree in part, and I don't agree with both you. Regardless, people like cheebo should not be allowed to post anything that is actual from episode 3 till Saturday, he recieved material that he was not suppose to recieve and he was allowed to post it on the boards. You can picture it all you want but it was wrong. True, no episode 3 spoliers should be posted in this forum. This is for small screen no big acreen. I love looking through the message boards because I learn a lot of whats going on but everytime some star wars loving fanboy comes up with threads like these. It makes me wonder.

And R24d20 - obviously you don't understand what I meant, even though I explained it. Rudimentary information is the stuff we all know by seeing the other movies. Rudimentary is NOT specific events, plot twists, secrets, etc.

Neojedi18- Just wanted to let you know that I'm not trying to be a jerk with you with the comments I made/posted. I agree with you on the posting of material that dosen't belong.

2ndQuest- (David) You guys have been as flexible as you possibly can be with many posters on the message boards, and I understand what you posted. Rules have to be followed to allow for a good open enjoyable expierence. We all come from different place and post on this site, but one constant thing that most of us have in common. Is that we love star wars. Some like the toons better, other the PT movies, others the OT movies, etc.

 

So is this forum safe again? I really hope so, as I already couldn't resist and posted in one thread, that thankfully had no spoilers. I'd like to post some more, if it didn't mean risking the whol movie plot. . .

? this forum because of the CW shows
? TFN in general because of EpIII

By December it'll be all calm and... geeky again
