Intersting first post, found myself chuckling at the humor in it. This should be an entertaining match.

 

I like the humor of it, too. Go RPF! Go Sithy!

And I must go up against Trimaj, first. Damned. That will be a tough one for Lorn.

Actually I see many men have . . . double loyalities and decided against us RPFers, who welcomed them like our brothers. Sad. Very sad. I find that lack of loyality [Vader]disturbing[/Vader].

 

Aaaannd, battle is joined.

Not sure there will be time for humour between strikes.

personally i'm somewhat unbiased on the whole thing. leastways, til we get to the last round.

funny... i thought pretty much the same thing about dealing with you, fins. irksomely we have to wait a while...

double loyalties? i have to support the place i first posted in after all... was a member of the EUC and had probably more than 2,000 posts there before i even FOUND the RPF. besides, i missed the signup date in the RPF.

I realized that of my three favourites only one can get into the finale, due to the way the fights build.

That is a shame. But I am very much looking forward to the Trimaj vs. DarkLordoftheFins duel.

i don't think the judges are really making rulings on anything like that sithy, only judging how it was played and all dat. so you're safe basically. unless you want to decapitate yourself as a cunning ploy...

I am not getting how that move isn't possible, seems perfectly plausible to me. The floor is icy, therefore slick, if Sithy targets a heavy object and pulls on it he would slide (seeing as he is the lighter of the two objects he would logically move first)?

The situation isn't comparable to Luke on Dagobah at all, Luke wasn't standing on a slick surface.

Also, from what I can tell he didn't ignore your attack. His post seems to indicate that he dropped to the floor and allowed his pull to help him glide across the surface of the slick floor. You didn't mention what part of the body you were attacking, so your attack could have been interpreted in various ways, a horizontal slash to the waist or a vertical slash to through a shoulder or even diagional through the torso, nothing specific is indicated so he didn't really have much to work with from what I read.

Not looking for an argument here, just looking for some discussion. You never know, a trick like that may be useful in the future unless discussion deems it not possible for the tournament.

 

Well, through judgements things seem to have been clarified.
