JCC Signs you are getting old

Heck, my favorite movie, which is Aladdin, will have been released 23 years ago this year.

 

Is it a sign that my brain seems to constantly try to find something new to find annoying rather than be indifferent to it? I was thinking earlier how I can't stand when people say "in my ____ voice" when quoting someone. ("Use the Force, in my Obi-Wan voice.")

 

Holy ****, Back to the Future is 30 years old.

 

"Hey, I had that song on my walkman this morning!"

"Ha, ha. Walkman."

 

I went to sleep at 9:30 on a Saturday night.

 

And Back to the Future Part III is 25 years old!

 

And Back to the Future Part II is still inaccurate!

 

I'm in high school and you people are old. lol

 

I'm a huge Atari fan and have collected retro video games for over 22 years now and it saddens me to hear people dismiss the pre-crash generation of video games as irrelevant. I enjoy all generations of gaming but growing up in the 70's with Atari was a special thing to me.

 

Indeed... there's no American League team that plays in Miami.

My dad and I were discussing high school reunions and I realized that my fifteenth reunion is either coming up or already passed. As I thought about possibly attending a high school reunion, I thought about the pics of my classmates I've seen on Facebook. Most of them are married (more than once for a few) with multiple kids (some have grandkids, what the...), and they look older. They look like adults nearing their mid-to-late thirties.

I look at the pics I've posted and I still look like I'm either soon to graduate high school or had recently graduated. It's so very weird to see how my classmates have changed.

The other day, I was at the grocery store and the younger cashier was flirting with me. Only now do I realize that I am at least ten years her senior, and yet I present as an adorkable shy guy.

 

You're old when you remember how the kind of computers Armin Zola downloaded his brain into in Captain America The Winter Soldier were considered "state of the art".

 

"Female Ghostbusters?"

 

You know you're getting old when "I'm doing nothing this weekend" sounds fun.

 

Those are the best weekends ever.

 

hmm how bout *****ing in your old-person dipes and shoveling it out later for din-dins? that is a definite sign right there.
