I dunno if that's necessarily indicative of anything, I owned a coat that was older than I was for a while. :p

I HAD ONE OF THOSE. It was growing near my collarbone, but it was super fine and thin, like a strand of spider silk, pure white, and probably over an inch long when I discovered it and tweezed it. WTF.

I found one about half an inch long sticking out the edge of my ear, white, spidersilk type thing. As soon as I discovered it, I yanked it out(Tweezers? WTF, loosers!). The Mrs said, "glad you finally did that".

Thanks for letting me know about it previously, dear!

It was fragile! I didn't want to just pull on it and risk leaving the root in!

The great thing about getting older, I find, is that your vision becomes worse. You're spared from witnessing your own decline somewhat.

One thing I've noticed in the past year... I have to ask people to repeat themselves, fairly often. All those years of live music are catching up with me. I've made an appointment with an audiologist.

I was excited that I found an inexpensive ear hair trimmer. Next, I'll probably be excited to be invited to a pool by Wilford Brimley.

I don't think this count but... that you really don't think about people could be using mobile devices to see the internet.

That people don't know about the big boy-/girlbands from when you were young.

    Indeed.

My first Internet capable computer had 8 MB of RAM. I was 25 when I got it.

I realize that most SUVs today are smaller then the station wagons I used to have to ride in the way back of as a child of the eighties.

Because todays kids don't know what its like to have to sit in the way back with tons of room or sit in the back with four to five kids in the back seat cause the vehicle was so big.

Plus no one plays punch buggy anymore like we used to do as kids.

Er.... yes, they do still play that.

... and are you unfamiliar with minivans?

Minivans are not wagons. Minivans keep you strapped in and safe. Station wagons let you roam free and annoy your older sister by flicking her in the ear cause she is sitting in the middle and you are stuck in the way back with no seats whatsoever.

Maybe I miss the carefree days when safety standards were either lax or not even there. Yet we still survived and thrived.
