Silicon 2006 October 6-8

Went to this off and on a few times, sometimes it's great, others it's kind of not.

Don't know what guests they have, so far looks kind of sparse. On the plus side, it's at the Doubletree again and full weekends are only $35.

I'll keep an eye on this and let you know what our plans are. So far, not sure, October is usually a strange month for us, used to be we were working ourselves into the ground for GYRO, but since it went "for profit" and all the old crew quit we lost interest.

No matter what we'll be touring haunted houses, and looking for one heck of a big event at Pirates of Emmerson with the new Pirates film coming out.

Wish we could hit Knott's Scary Farm this year, but same old story. For those who like their haunt UBER and in their face, here's are the links. Bit early, dates have note been declared yet, but since they start hiring in AUGUST, no doubt we'll see something up soon.

I went to Silicon for the first time last year and actually really enjoyed it. Like Baycon, only smaller. Same people, just a smaller subset. I found it very laid-back and kinda nice.

 

Hmm haven't been to SiliCon in ages...it was always fun..always laid back..

Sorta...BayCon Lite!!

(And now since we won't be at BayCon because of CIV next year...yeah..looks promising!!!)
