    We must do this again.

Yes, I too had a great time....for being the gestapo I am (or that's what thraken likes to tell me, though I think he's changed his mind)

Yeah whopimp, you missed out on seeing Amanda. Everyone was generally cordial to us, although there were a few places we will advise others not to go to because they weren't:

Bars/clubs openminded enough to let us in:
    Lotus
    Tiki Bob's
    Jillians
    Claddagh
    Slippery Noodle Inn

Have a Nice Day Cafe and the World Mardi Gras complex/Circle Centre were not very open to letting us in or pass out material. Although I can understand that we didn't give them prior notice. Actually, I talked to some of the security guards earlier in the evening, and they told us to check with disptach when we got there. We did that and they weren't very receptive to us coming in. Have a Nice Day Cafe just hasselled us.

Tiki Bob's in particular played a disco version of the Star Wars theme just for us! And when we passed by the Claddagh, the host came outside and asked us to come in. The bouncers at the door at Lotus asked to get their picture taken with the stormtroopers and thraken.

It was an awesome night! Thanks TK 616 for putting it together, although he wasn't feeling all that great. :D

I'm happy to report that all the red temp dye came out of my hair. :) Mara Jade is packed nicely away until the next time. However, I think Mara might stick to hot chocolate next time. ;)
I had a fabulous time! Thanks to all!
Oh, and just for the record:

Tons of fun. We all know who the real man is now too!

We will have to do it again. We should be back during swc2, but in greater numbers.

quote of the night comes from the rather comely young lady who told me "you guys make me moist".

I had a great time as well except when we were waiting for you guys at Tiki Bob's. I just wasn't going to pay the $5 it was a matter of principle. But after that it just got better. Thanks for such a great time.

    A drunk queen.

No wonder the Queen Mum bit it the other day. You are such an embarassment.

And Mama with the red hair. Were you macking on the carbonite Solo when you looked that way? Maybe it would have warmed him outta the freezing.

What? I leave town for a couple of days, and everyone gets delusions of grandeur... :D

Wow, peoples, it sounds like a lot of fun was had by all. I had fun in Cleveland having a snowball fight with Mark and Gregg. Next outing, I must make every effort to join y'all.

Ps. I suggest a general avoidance of Have a Nice Day Cafe. That place used to be cool, but now it is a thug bar most nights. Makes Mos Eisley cantina look like Disneyland. My opinion, of course. Your mileage may differ.

Heidi, Gary and I had a blast! By time we got back to the transport we were sore from head to toe. I hope to have my armor repaired for the next outing. Chicks dig the armor. Instead I felt like Where's Waldo Luke in the pics. hehehe BTW thanks for Bearing with my last minute Death Star Luke. So, will there be another outing before C2?

BTW Binks, Naughty, Naughty! hehehe ;)

Things got a little too out of hand. I for one felt uncomfortable. After we got escorted out of the mall we should of called it a night. It was getting pretty late and there was too much drinking by those who chose to drink.
But still there was some fun in the night.

Actually for some reason Have a Nice Day Cafe has that persona all over the place. The one in St. Louis, every time myself or some people I know pass by it, there is either a fight or a bunch of cops out in front.

I have to say that everyone was so receptive to us...well except the places aforementioned.

*looks at the No Doubt picture* Hey, that's Louis! I bet we could get Barenaked Ladies to do something like that....when they go back on tour *sniffles* I would love to be part of that picture though.

When it first opened, it was cool. Then Tiki Bob's opened next door, and it went to the dogs, because they felt that they had to do stupid things in order to attract Tiki's customers. Well, they got what Tiki didn't let in or threw out, and now it is a gangsta-wannabe-too dumb to wear a mullet type of place. I don't give it until the end of summer before it closes.

And, I make it a personal rule never to enter a place where they have posted a list of "unacceptable" clothes that include ball caps, bandanas, weapons, etc. I go to places that have clientele not trying to look like extras in a "Vanilla Ice" video.

SO, what's the story on Binksy getting tossed out of the mall??

Well we went to the mall. About an hour or so beforehand some of us tried talking to the security to see what the rules were and if we could come in and they said talk to them when we came in. When we tried to come in the mall, they told us we couldn't pass out things and couldn't wear anything with a mask on it. So the guys took their masks off and we wnet upstairs to World Mardi Gras. When we got there, they told us we couldn't go in like that and we couldn't pass out anything. So we left on our own accord and were followed/escorted out by security.

I suggest a boycott of the World Mardi Gras facility, then, until after C II. Or, conversely, call their DAYTIME management, find out who holds the purse-strings, and inform them of what happened, and see if they will relent. If not, then gently suggesting that it will be a shame that a convention coming to town with 40,000 attendees will not bother to visit their establishment that weekend...

Or, we set up a blockade and send in the 501st to level the place.. ;)
