PT Since the acting was not the best in the Prequels

One pint about The Matrix, the only main character who was a martial artist was Colin Chou (Seraph), and he is also a regular actor in Chinese/Hong Kong Cinema. Also, he was awesome.

The actors from the original trilogy have said that GL didn't give them much direction. Mostly just told them to do it more "intensely".

 

Which is a direction. And even if he didn't gave them much, they gave their performances with George, thus my question regarding ANH.

The PT was no worse than the OT with it's acting and dialogue.

C'mon, that line isn't a tad bit cheesy to anyone else? And that's far from the only "complaint" one can come up with for the OT. There are plenty of parallels (both good and bad) between the OT and PT.

Yes, the dialogue is a problem, especially Anakin's dialogue. I would say the editing is the biggest problem, though. These movies can be made better with some fine tune editing.
