Well, gang; seems we were off by a week. http://videoeta.com/movie.html?via=form&id=51782

    And on the Force.net... http://www.theforce.net/latestnews/story/Revenge_of_the_Sith_DVD_November_8th_93595.asp

Guess that makes my rental of the Vader suit kinda superfluous. Oh well. Maybe I'll win a costume contest or two and get my money back...

Yeah, KnightShade just mentioned that to me...
Oh, well - kinda figured since it was so far out that the date would probably change at least once between now and then.

They switched it again? I'm glad I only wrote it in pencil on my calendar for Nov 8th. ;)

Well, then we can go back to our original plan. :D

    YES! Awesome!

Let the planning begin. Your Outreach Representative will start crafting a letter to Media Play to let them know of our intentions...

It will be the best Halloween night ever. Star Wars and Halloween, like Chocolate and Peanut Butter.

    Half-Blood Prince to be specific.

Media Play - Henrietta had puzzles, treasure hunts for the kids, lots of food, costume contest, reading of the previous book, an owl show (Saturday morning).

I was going to say to run the other 5 films on the monitors. I sick of watching the National Treasure menu. Well we got less than 3 months until showtime. :)

Unfortunately no, but I was there for the Harry Potter party and was jotting down notes for us. We need to blow the HBP party away.

    Oooh! Good thinking!

Although if we do the midnight madness I'm not sure how many younger kids we will have. But it might be a good idea to have some activities prepared just in case.

Costume contest sounds like an excellent idea as long as folks other than us come dressed up. :p But I suppose that's all in the advertising.

The food part we usually leave up to Media Play, I think they had plenty last time.

I figured we'd try doing a raffle again if we get some/enough worthwhile donations. I'm hoping this time we can hit up local business for donations instead of it all coming from us.

And, of course the free photos would be another "activity".

We were also planning a trivia contest last time, but that never got off the ground.
