Sith Speeder Update

Hey everyone, I just want to say that there are some really great artist here.

I'm still in high school and I just bough a 1-year educational lisence for 3DS Max And this is the first 3D work I've ever done.

All I'm doing is fixing up the origenal model

filling gaps, holes, etc., but I have a few questions too.

ok on this, the things i circled are gaps i still need to fill, but on the handle bars, how can i smooth this out, i've tried smoothMesh and vertex wielding and cannot get either of those to work.

on the bottom curvature of the body on the left side, the faces are shadded on the inside, why is this, why does it add that wierd shading when I invert the normals somtimes?
